Where to look for the match now
Start with DAZN and search for Manchester City, Wydad, or the FIFA Club World Cup. If an on-demand replay is listed in your territory, follow the account and playback prompts shown there. The 2025 free-to-view offer applied to the tournament broadcast; it does not establish that a replay is still available or that DAZN’s wider sports catalogue is free.
If DAZN does not list the full match, check official match coverage from FIFA and Manchester City. Manchester City said its website and official app offered a Matchday Centre, live text and audio, statistics, match reports, reaction, and highlights. These options are coverage or clips, not necessarily a full-match replay. Official YouTube highlights may also be available, but access and availability can vary.
How the original free live stream worked
For the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, FIFA and Manchester City announced DAZN as the tournament’s global streaming home and promoted all 63 matches as free to view. Manchester City said viewers needed to register with an email address; a paid DAZN subscription was not required for that tournament offer. Manchester City listed smart TVs, phones, tablets, streaming devices, game consoles, and web browsers as supported ways to watch. For a replay today, search the archive rather than expecting the old live-event page to work.
Where the stream was available
The tournament was described as globally available on DAZN, but not literally everywhere. Manchester City listed Belarus, Cuba, China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Syria as territories where DAZN was unavailable for this coverage. The 2025 announcement does not establish current replay rights in any particular country, so check the service’s current local availability.

In the United Kingdom, Channel 5 also carried this specific match alongside DAZN, according to Manchester City’s fixture-specific guide. That was a UK option, not an international broadcaster. The sources identifying the U.S. option named DAZN; they do not establish that every U.S. cable or free-TV provider carried the fixture.

Does a VPN let you watch from anywhere?
A VPN can change the location a website appears to see, but that does not guarantee that DAZN or another broadcaster will play a stream. A service may restrict playback based on territory, account country, payment profile, or device location, and may block VPN traffic. Trying to bypass those restrictions can also conflict with a service’s terms. Use the official broadcaster available where you are; do not treat a VPN as a guaranteed route around local rights.

Because the match is over, a missing live event page is expected. If you are checking DAZN or another official page, these practical checks can help distinguish an archive issue from a device or account issue; they are not a quoted DAZN troubleshooting procedure.
- Confirm you are looking for the June 18, 2025 fixture, not a live event or the separate 2026 FIFA World Cup.
- Sign in to the intended account and search separately for “Manchester City,” “Wydad,” and “FIFA Club World Cup.”
- Check whether the listing is a full replay, highlights, or a live event, and whether the service offers it in your current territory.
- If an app fails, update it and the device software, restart the app, or try a supported desktop browser.
- If playback fails in a browser, temporarily disable ad-blocking or script-blocking extensions and try again.
A page asking for payment does not prove that a paid plan is needed for the old tournament offer: that offer was for the 2025 live tournament stream. Check what the current page is selling before subscribing. Avoid unofficial mirror sites and pages impersonating DAZN, particularly those that request card details outside the official service.
