Short answer: The best free legal starting point is the official Olympics YouTube channel, where selected Milano Cortina 2026 figure-skating replays, highlights, and clips have been published. You can also check Olympics.com for official video, results, schedules, and event pages.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics ended on February 22, 2026. As of August 12, 2026, figure skating is no longer available as a live event, so this is a guide to legitimate on-demand footage. Availability varies by country, and no service can honestly guarantee every full program worldwide for free.

Start with the official Olympics video library

Open the Olympics YouTube channel and search for terms such as Milano Cortina 2026 figure skating full replay or the name of the discipline, skater, or segment you want to find.

The official channel has published videos labeled as full replays, including the pairs short program and the figure-skating exhibition gala. It also carries shorter highlights and clips. These examples establish that legitimate free footage is available, but they do not mean that every men’s, women’s, pairs, ice-dance, team-event, or gala segment is available in every country.

#1 Best Overall
RISE (IN MEMORY OF THE 1961 US WORLD FIGURE SKATING TEAM)
  • Features some of the great names of figure skating, including Peggy Fleming, Dorothy Hamill, Scott Hamilton, Brian Boitano and Michelle Kwan.
  1. Open the official Olympics channel rather than an unauthorised restream or a copied upload.
  2. Search for the exact event or segment, such as pairs short program, figure skating gala, or a skater’s name.
  3. Check whether the video is labeled as a full replay, highlights package, or short clip.
  4. Press play and confirm that it is available in your territory. YouTube may display a country restriction even when the video appears in search results.
  5. If the video is unavailable or incomplete, move to the official Olympics website and then to your country’s licensed Olympic broadcaster.

Do not assume that a video appearing in search results will play everywhere. Olympic video rights are licensed by territory, and an individual video can have different availability from another video on the same channel.

Use Olympics.com for official video, results, and event information

Olympics.com is the other official destination to check. It can provide Milano Cortina 2026 event pages, results, schedules, highlights, and video links. It is particularly useful if you want to identify the exact session before searching for a replay elsewhere.

An event page does not necessarily mean that the complete competition segment remains available worldwide. Treat it as an official index and results source, then look for a clearly marked replay or video. If the page offers only highlights or results, that is not evidence that a full free replay exists in your country.

United States: what happened with NBC and Peacock

NBCUniversal held the U.S. Olympic broadcast rights. During the Games, figure skating was shown on NBC and USA Network and streamed through Peacock, NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC app, and the NBC Sports app.

NBC’s figure-skating coverage information said full event replays were available through its replays hub after the live stream. Peacock offered figure-skating replays on demand after the NBC simulcast concluded in each time zone, with the replay becoming available the following day under the event-period schedule.

That information describes the coverage window around the Games, not a guarantee that the same replays remain online in August 2026. If you already have access to Peacock or an NBC platform, you can check its Olympics or sports replay area, but do not subscribe solely on the assumption that every 2026 figure-skating program is still there.

During the Olympic coverage period, NBC’s FAQ listed Peacock Premium at $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year and said Peacock carried every sport, competition session, and medal ceremony. Those were event-period prices and terms; they should not be presented as current prices or as a free viewing method.

NBC also stated that its online Olympic content was available only in the United States and U.S. territories because of broadcasting regulations. Peacock and NBC’s digital platforms therefore are not a universal “watch from anywhere” solution.

Outside the United States: check the rights holder for your country

Olympic rights were allocated territory by territory. If you are outside the United States, use this order:

  1. Check Olympics.com and the official Olympics YouTube channel. These are the safest places to look for free official highlights and any full replays made available in your territory.
  2. Identify your country’s licensed Olympic broadcaster. Start with the broadcaster that carried the Games in your country and search its official website or app for “Milano Cortina 2026 figure skating replay.”
  3. Check whether the archive is free, subscription-based, or no longer available. A broadcaster may have shown the event free to air while keeping its online archive behind a subscription, or it may have removed the replay after a defined period.
  4. Use only the broadcaster’s own website or app. Avoid copied streams, suspicious “free Olympics” pages, and unofficial restreams.

In many European territories, Warner Bros. Discovery and Eurosport or Discovery+ were among the relevant Olympic coverage arrangements. Free-to-air packages also involved the European Broadcasting Union and its members. The exact service, replay catalog, and pricing depend on the viewer’s country, so a European service that worked in one market should not be advertised as a universal option.

The most accurate rule is: use the official Olympics video library or your country’s licensed Olympic broadcaster; free full replays are not guaranteed in every territory.

What “free” means here

Streaming guides often use “free” to describe several different situations. They are not interchangeable:

1. Free official video

This means a video published by Olympics on YouTube or Olympics.com without a separate subscription. It may be a full replay, a highlights package, or a short clip. It can also be restricted in particular countries or removed later.

2. Free-to-air television

Some countries carried Olympic programming on a public-service or commercial broadcaster that viewers could receive without a pay-TV subscription. That does not automatically provide a free online archive, and a broadcast available in one country does not become internationally accessible simply because it was free over the air.

3. A free trial or promotional offer

A streaming-TV service may offer trial access or a limited promotion. This is temporary access to a normally paid service, not a permanent free replay library. It commonly requires an account, a payment method, and compliance with the provider’s cancellation and eligibility terms. YouTube TV’s Olympic promotional material, for example, described a paid service with trial and promotional terms rather than a universally free archive.

How to watch the replays on a television

If you would rather watch official Olympics videos or a broadcaster’s app on a television than on a phone or laptop, a Roku streaming stick can be a practical way to add supported streaming apps to a compatible TV. NBC listed Roku devices among the platforms supporting the Peacock and NBC apps during its Olympic coverage.

Disclosure: Any hardware recommendation is separate from Olympic rights. A Roku device does not include Peacock, NBC, YouTube, or Olympics.com access; it does not make paid content free; and it cannot remove country restrictions. App support, subscriptions, and geographic availability must still be checked separately.

If a replay will not play

Work through these checks before assuming the video has disappeared:

  • Confirm the source. Make sure the page belongs to Olympics, NBC, Peacock, or your country’s licensed broadcaster.
  • Look for a territory message. “Unavailable in your country” usually indicates a rights restriction, not a problem with your browser.
  • Try the official app or website. A broadcaster may offer the replay in its app but not expose it through a general web search.
  • Check whether it is a clip rather than a full replay. Search results often mix medal highlights, short excerpts, and complete sessions.
  • Check the archive date. Event-period replay promises do not guarantee indefinite storage after the Games.
  • Check ordinary playback conditions. Update the app or browser, sign in if the licensed service requires it, test another supported device, and verify that your connection is stable.

Do not use a VPN as a guaranteed answer. A VPN may not work with the service, may conflict with the provider’s terms, and does not automatically make accessing another country’s Olympic rights legally permitted. This guide does not recommend bypassing geographic restrictions.

What you can realistically watch for free now

For most viewers, the realistic free route in the post-Games period is:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Selected official full replays on the Olympics YouTube channel.
  2. Official highlights and clips on YouTube or Olympics.com.
  3. Any replay that your country’s licensed broadcaster has chosen to leave publicly accessible.

If you need a specific complete program and it is not in those sources, there may be no legal free online copy available in your territory. A paid broadcaster archive may be the only authorized option, and even that depends on the provider’s current catalog.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I watch figure skating from the 2026 Winter Olympics live now?

No. Milano Cortina 2026 ended on February 22, 2026. Current viewing is limited to replays, highlights, clips, or archived coverage that an official rights holder still makes available.

Does the official Olympics YouTube channel have every figure-skating program?

Not necessarily. It has published selected full replays, including the pairs short program and the exhibition gala, as well as highlights and clips. Availability varies by video and country, so check each program individually.

Is Peacock a free way to watch the 2026 Olympic figure-skating replays?

No universal free access should be assumed. Peacock carried the U.S. Olympic coverage during the Games, but its event-period replay window and listed prices do not guarantee that the same content remains available now.

Can viewers outside the United States use Peacock for Olympic replays?

NBC stated that its online Olympic content was limited to the United States and U.S. territories. Viewers elsewhere should check the official Olympics library and their own country’s licensed Olympic broadcaster.

Will a VPN provide legal access to another country’s Olympic stream?

There is no guarantee that it will work or comply with a provider’s terms or local rights rules. The safer approach is to use an official service licensed for your location.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: Because the 2026 Winter Olympics ended on February 22, there is no live figure-skating stream to find now. Start with the official Olympics YouTube channel and Olympics.com for free replays, highlights, and clips. If the exact program is missing or blocked, check the official Olympic broadcaster for your country. Full replays are not guaranteed to remain free or available worldwide, and neither a paid trial nor a VPN should be described as a universal free solution.
