You can keep recorded CBSE revision classes playing on a YouTube Live channel by sending them repeatedly to YouTube through an encoder. The playback can run on a computer you keep online or through a cloud streaming service. Before starting, confirm your channel can go live, secure the rights to every recording and asset, test the stream, and arrange to monitor it. Do not rely on a single continuous 24-hour broadcast as a complete replay: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived.

Choose how the recorded classes will reach YouTube

YouTube Live needs an encoder workflow for a continuous prerecorded feed. YouTube describes an encoder as software or hardware that converts video for streaming, and its encoder information lists Gyre as an example of a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded-video streaming. That listing does not establish a service’s price, availability in India, or uptime guarantee.

Approach Where playback runs What you need to plan for
StreamNeo — cloud playback for YouTube; upload your recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It keeps the feed running with your computer off, supports uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers the first day free. In StreamNeo’s cloud. Manage your uploaded videos and playlist, protect your stream key, and monitor the YouTube broadcast. StreamNeo includes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream.
Local encoder software or hardware On your computer or encoder device. Keep the device and internet connection available, choose settings your measured upload can sustain, and make a plan to notice and respond to outages.

For a local setup, use encoder software or hardware that can play the class recordings in a loop and send them to YouTube Live. A computer-based setup gives you direct control over the playback and encoder, but the computer, power, and network must remain available. A cloud service moves playback off your home computer; it does not remove the need to check that the YouTube feed is healthy.

Check channel access and content rights first

Confirm live streaming is enabled

  1. Open YouTube Studio and check that the channel is verified and has no live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days.
  2. Enable live streaming. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do this before your planned broadcast rather than at the last minute.
  3. Use YouTube Live Control Room to create or configure the stream. YouTube supports encoder streaming; follow the current settings shown for the stream you create.

Get permission for every class and asset

Before broadcasting, confirm you have the necessary rights to the recorded lessons and any presentation materials, music, images, textbook extracts, or other third-party content in them. If the recordings belong to a school, teacher, coaching provider, or another channel, obtain permission for this rebroadcast. YouTube’s live-stream terms require the provider to hold necessary rights for worldwide exploitation of live content and to comply with applicable law. The title “CBSE revision class” does not itself establish permission, and no CBSE-specific blanket exception is established here.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
  • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. A detected match can replace the feed with a placeholder; continued use can interrupt or terminate the stream. Even licensed third-party material may be interrupted unless the rights holder adds your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Resolve rights and any necessary allowlisting before going live rather than treating a licence as a guarantee that the stream will pass uninterrupted.

Connect the encoder and configure a test

  1. Create the stream: In YouTube Live Control Room, create a live stream and open its encoder settings.
  2. Connect privately: Copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder’s YouTube destination settings. Treat the key like a password: do not share it, include it in public instructions, or show it in screenshots. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube’s live settings before broadcasting again.
  3. Select an ingest protocol and quality: Use the protocol, codec, and bitrate options specified in YouTube’s current encoder settings for your stream. YouTube recommends RTMPS, a secure extension of RTMP, for ingestion. There is no one bitrate that is right for every class recording and connection; choose a quality the available upload can sustain reliably.
  4. Measure upload capacity: Run a speed test from the connection that will carry the stream. YouTube recommends 20% upload-bandwidth headroom over the stream’s bitrate. Account for other devices and shared-network traffic, which can reduce the bandwidth actually available to the encoder.
  5. Test the real lesson: Start with a test broadcast or private/unlisted test as appropriate, then check the watch page and listen to the actual class audio. Confirm that video, audio, captions if used, and the intended order of lessons are correct before opening the public feed.
  6. Monitor while live: Check YouTube’s stream health and watch for connection, audio, or playback problems. Assign someone to monitor the stream or arrange an alerting and response plan; selecting a cloud or local encoder alone does not establish uninterrupted service.

Build the 24/7 lesson loop

Prepare the class recordings in the order students should encounter them, then load them into the encoder’s looping playlist or the cloud service’s playlist. Check that the end of one file transitions as expected to the next and that the final item returns to the start. If lessons are intended for a particular class, subject, or syllabus year, make that clear on the YouTube watch page; this workflow does not determine which CBSE curriculum or year a recording covers.

For a locally run feed, leave the playback application and encoder running and prevent the computer from sleeping or shutting down during the broadcast. A UPS can be an optional way to bridge some power interruptions, but it does not fix a network outage and is not a guarantee of continuity. For either approach, decide who will respond if YouTube or the encoder reports a problem.

Keep replay access separate from the live feed

A continuous feed and a dependable lesson archive are different things. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; that statement does not promise an automatic complete archive for a single broadcast lasting 12 hours or more. For reliable revision access, upload each class as an ordinary YouTube video, or divide the schedule into shorter, discrete live blocks and check that their archives are available.

Or let it run in the cloud

StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for playing uploaded videos as a continuous live feed. Upload the class recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer can be off while it runs; the feed uses the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are supported in India; card checkout is available worldwide. See StreamNeo or its plans. To try it, start your free first day.

Troubleshoot common problems

  • Live streaming is unavailable: Check channel verification and whether a live-streaming restriction was applied in the preceding 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
  • The encoder will not connect: Recheck the stream URL and key in the encoder against the current YouTube Live Control Room settings. Make sure the key has not been exposed or replaced since it was entered.
  • The stream buffers or loses quality: Compare the encoder bitrate with a fresh upload speed test. Leave YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom and account for competing use on a shared connection; reduce the selected quality if the connection cannot sustain it.
  • Audio or video is missing: Test the actual recording and confirm the encoder is playing the intended file and capturing its audio. Check the YouTube watch page, not just the encoder’s local preview.
  • The feed is interrupted by a copyright match: Identify the matched material, confirm the broadcast rights, and resolve any required Content ID allowlisting with the rights holder. Remove uncleared material before restarting.
  • A full-length replay is missing: Do not assume that a 12-hour-or-longer broadcast will have an automatic complete archive. Publish lessons separately or use shorter live blocks and verify the resulting archives.
  • A local broadcast stops after power loss: Check power, computer sleep settings, encoder status, and internet connectivity. A UPS may help with some power interruptions only; it cannot restore a failed network connection.

Costs and operational trade-offs

A local encoder may use equipment and connectivity you already have, but it requires an available device and someone or something to detect problems. A cloud service shifts playback away from the local computer and has its own service cost and operating arrangements. YouTube’s cited workflow guidance does not provide comparable prices, India availability, or uptime figures for third-party services, so compare the terms of a service directly rather than assuming either approach is free or guaranteed.
