To keep a Sundarkand path live on YouTube around the clock, create a YouTube Live stream, send it an authorized audio-and-video feed from an encoder, and monitor the broadcast continuously. You can perform the recitation live or stream a loop of prerecorded material, but both formats need the same careful setup: verify channel access, test the feed, and clear rights for every recording and visual you use.
Choose the format and plan for continuity
First decide whether the channel will carry a live recitation, a loop of prerecorded video, or a mix. YouTube supports encoder-based live streams, including feeds produced with software or standalone hardware encoders. A prerecorded loop can reduce the need for someone to perform continuously, but it does not remove the need to monitor the stream or obtain rights to the material.
A 24/7 schedule is an operating goal, not a guarantee from YouTube or an encoder. Plan who will check the stream and respond to network, encoder, playback, or copyright problems. If preserving the full program as a YouTube archive matters, plan shorter broadcasts: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, but does not promise automatic archiving for streams that last 12 hours or longer. A local recording is an operational fallback to consider, not a YouTube guarantee.
Check that your channel can go live
- Verify the YouTube channel and confirm it has no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube also sets a minimum age of 16 for live streaming. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
- Enable live streaming in advance if this is the channel’s first time. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours; do not leave it until launch day. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
- Decide whether the stream should be public, unlisted, or private, and set its title, description, and schedule in YouTube Studio. Check the final watch page before sharing it.
Clear rights for the complete program
Do not assume that a religious text or devotional subject makes a particular recording or video free to broadcast. The text, a specific recitation, the performer’s recording, backing music, cover art, and video footage may each have different rights holders. YouTube’s livestream terms require the provider to have the rights needed for worldwide exploitation, including music licensing rights: YouTube Terms of Service.

Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can replace the broadcast with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. Even if you have a license, a rights owner using Content ID may need to add your channel to an allowlist to prevent an interruption. Confirm the permission covers livestreaming, the intended territories, and the channel; if Content ID is involved, ask the rights holder about allowlisting before launch. See YouTube’s guidance on copyright issues with live streams.
Create the stream and connect an encoder
An encoder converts the audio-and-video program into a digital feed YouTube can receive. Choose software for a simpler computer-based setup, or a standalone hardware encoder if your production depends on dedicated equipment. YouTube supports both; cameras, microphones, and other external production gear are optional inputs, not a platform requirement.

- In YouTube Studio, open Create > Go live, then create or schedule a stream in Live Control Room. Select the stream type and configure its details.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that stream into the encoder’s YouTube/custom RTMP destination fields. Labels vary by encoder, so follow its setup instructions. Treat the key like a password: anyone with it may be able to send a feed to your stream. Reset it in YouTube if it is exposed.
- Set the encoder’s video, audio, and output options for the source you are actually sending. Avoid changing settings at random to solve a problem; test the chosen profile before the public broadcast.
- Start the encoder and wait for Live Control Room to detect the incoming feed. Preview it there before starting or scheduling the public broadcast. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains the connection process: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
Test bandwidth, sound, and playback
Measure available upload bandwidth where the encoder will run. The total stream bitrate must fit within that upload capacity; YouTube recommends leaving 20% headroom above the stream bitrate. For example, if your configured stream uses 5 Mbps, plan for at least 6.25 Mbps of usable upload capacity (5 Mbps divided by 0.8), with additional margin preferable when other devices share the connection. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
- Preview the stream in Live Control Room and listen for clear, continuous audio, distortion, clipping, silence, or unexpected background sound.
- Check that the image is stable and that the intended text, artwork, or video is visible and legible.
- Open the watch page on another device and test mobile playback. Confirm that the public-facing page plays the expected content, not just that the encoder reports a connection.
- Test the actual loop transition, including the end of one segment and start of the next, so gaps or abrupt audio changes are caught before relying on the feed.
Operate the stream and handle interruptions
Assign a person to monitor the stream and its audio/video, especially during launch and any period when the setup changes. Check Live Control Room for connection or rights warnings and check playback from the viewer’s perspective. A continuous stream can fail because of a local network outage, encoder stop, power loss, or a platform-side interruption.

Backed by a 1-year warranty and 24/7 online technical support.
- If YouTube shows a copyright warning: stop or replace the flagged material and resolve the rights issue. Do not assume that restarting the encoder clears the underlying claim.
- If the feed stops arriving: check the encoder is running, the correct stream URL and key are configured, and the internet connection has upload capacity. Reconnect and verify the watch page after the feed returns.
- If the encoder is connected but viewers cannot hear or see the program: inspect source selection, audio routing, and the Live Control Room preview, then test the watch page on a separate device.
- If an archive is essential: do not count on one broadcast of 12 hours or more to become an automatic YouTube archive. Make a separate recording or schedule broadcasts that remain under YouTube’s stated archive threshold.
Or let it run in the cloud
For a prerecorded Sundarkand program, StreamNeo runs an always-on YouTube stream from uploaded videos, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly billing is $9.99 per month. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. This is for uploaded video, not a camera-based live performance, and rights clearance and YouTube monitoring remain important.

YouTube says eligible creators may monetize live streams with ads and Super Chat, and some channels have memberships.
