You can stream Durga aarti around the clock by running a compatible encoder on cloud infrastructure and sending its live output to YouTube. The setup does not guarantee uninterrupted service: you must secure rights to the exact recording, configure YouTube ingest correctly, and monitor and recover the encoder and stream.
Before you set up the stream
Check YouTube Live eligibility
YouTube’s setup guidance requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days; the streamer must be at least 16. YouTube lists limits of 10 active streams per channel and three per stream key. These are concurrency limits, not a guarantee about how long a single broadcast can remain live. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
Clear the recording and performance rights
A devotional prayer is not automatically free to broadcast. Check rights for both the underlying composition and the specific performance or recording, and keep written permission or license terms. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and can replace the image, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it. If licensed material is registered with Content ID, ask the rights holder whether your channel needs to be added to an allowlist. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams.
Choose a cloud signal path
The basic route is: a rights-cleared audio or video source on cloud infrastructure → an encoder or streaming service → YouTube Live. The cloud host runs the process in place of a home computer, but it does not remove the need to configure, monitor, and recover that process.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Self-managed virtual machine and encoder
With a virtual machine (VM), you install and operate the encoder yourself. This offers control over the process and its configuration, but you are responsible for keeping the source available, restarting a failed process, monitoring delivery, and understanding the host’s charges and terms. Choose a VM and region based on the encoder and workload you actually need; the available official documentation does not establish a specific VM size, cost, or uptime guarantee for this broadcast.
Google Cloud Live Stream API
Google Cloud’s Live Stream API is a managed option that ingests live SRT or RTMP input and transcodes it to HLS or DASH, with primary and backup inputs. Those outputs are a separate stage from YouTube’s ingest: make sure the output you configure is compatible with the YouTube destination and selected protocol. The documentation does not establish the price or a service-level commitment for this particular setup.

Set up a self-managed cloud stream
- Prepare the media. Select the exact aarti recording, confirm that the cloud machine can access it, and retain the rights documentation. Decide whether the stream should have a video image as well as audio; test the full source, not just a short excerpt.
- Confirm channel access. Open YouTube’s Live Control Room, verify that the channel can go live, and create or select the live stream. Use the current stream settings shown there rather than assuming a URL, protocol, or key from an older setup.
- Protect the stream key. Copy the stream key and the destination settings from YouTube into the encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or include it in a public script, log, or screenshot. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube and update the encoder.
- Choose a supported ingest protocol. YouTube documents RTMP, RTMPS, HLS, and DASH ingest. RTMP(S) is a common encoder route; HLS needs an HLS-compatible encoder and an HLS-configured stream key. Confirm the protocol, destination URL, and supported media format against YouTube’s current encoder setup instructions and ingestion protocol documentation.
- Run an end-to-end test. Start the encoder and check YouTube’s preview and stream health before relying on the broadcast. Verify that the sound is present and stable, the picture is correct if used, and the stream reaches the intended audience setting. Stop and restart the process once to confirm that your launch and recovery procedure works.
- Make the process recoverable. Run the encoder under a process supervisor or equivalent restart mechanism. Monitor both the source and YouTube ingest, alert on an exited process or stalled media, and test recovery after a failure. A restart mechanism can relaunch a process; it cannot ensure that the source, network, cloud host, or YouTube ingest is available.
- Set archive behavior deliberately. Choose whether to archive the stream based on your channel goals and the practical storage and playback implications. YouTube’s Aug. 12, 2026 guidance says public archived livestreams may count as qualified watch-hour source material; unarchived live streams do not. An archive does not guarantee acceptance into the YouTube Partner Program. See YouTube’s watch-hours and monetization guidance.
Keep copyright and monetization separate from technical setup
Copyright can interrupt a technically healthy stream
Even when the encoder is sending a signal correctly, a rights match may cause YouTube to replace the image, interrupt the stream, or end it. A license for a recording does not necessarily prevent automated enforcement unless the relevant rights holder has also allowed your channel through Content ID. Resolve permissions before going live and keep contact and license details available to the operator.
A continuous loop is not a monetization guarantee
On July 15, 2025, YouTube renamed its “repetitious content” policy to “inauthentic content” and clarified that repetitive or mass-produced material with little original value may be ineligible for monetization; the policy applies to live streams. A minimally varied loop should not be assumed to qualify. Review YouTube’s channel monetization policies and assess the channel’s overall originality rather than treating continuous uptime as evidence of monetization eligibility.

Plan costs and continuity realistically
For a self-managed setup, account for the VM or managed service, data transfer, any transcoding and storage, and the time needed to monitor and recover the stream. Rates and service terms depend on the provider, region, configuration, and usage; check the provider’s current pricing and terms before deployment. The cited platform documentation does not establish a directly comparable total cost or 24/7 guarantee for this workload.
