Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minutePut the agent’s name, phone number and a short call to action in a persistent graphic layer in the video feed before it reaches YouTube. Keep the details legible without covering important parts of the property, then check the YouTube Live Control Room preview and a phone-sized playback view. Add a clickable contact link to the video description; don’t rely on Live Chat for URLs.
Choose a prerecorded loop or a live camera tour
For a prerecorded tour loop, the streaming software sends the video as an encoder feed; looping is a production choice, not a documented native YouTube loop mode. For a live walkthrough, a camera supplies a changing picture and someone generally needs to operate the tour. YouTube supports encoder-based streams using a stream URL and stream key, but does not prescribe a particular looping app or camera kit. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains the platform workflow.
| Production path | Does the picture change live? | Overlay approach | Equipment consideration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Prerecorded tour loop | No; the uploaded recording plays through the encoder. | Add the contact graphic in the streaming software. | A software-generated feed does not need a capture card. |
| Live camera walkthrough | Yes; the camera feed changes as the tour proceeds. | Composite the graphic in the encoder or production software. | A capture card may be needed to bring an HDMI camera into the streaming computer; the need depends on the camera and setup. |
The capture-card distinction is a workflow consideration, not a requirement for every camera. YouTube’s encoder documentation covers hardware and encoder connections generally: Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
Make a contact graphic that works on screen
Include only the essentials
Use the agent’s display name, a direct phone number and a concise prompt such as “Call or text to arrange a viewing.” Publish only details the agent is authorized to share. A phone number remains visible in the video for viewers watching on any device or in an embedded player.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Place it without obscuring the tour
Keep the graphic away from the parts of each room that viewers need to see. Check it at the final output resolution and on a phone-sized playback view, where small text can be difficult to read. A banner that looks clear on a production monitor may be too small on a phone, so review the actual preview rather than judging only the graphic file.
YouTube’s guidance discusses overlays in encoder workflows, but its documented browser-source overlay instructions on the Monetize your live stream page are specifically for a Take a Break slate. They do not supply a general recipe or a contact-banner URL. Use the overlay controls in your chosen encoder, and do not substitute YouTube’s break-slate URL for a contact graphic.
Set up the YouTube stream and test the overlay
- Create or schedule the stream. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule the broadcast. Set its title, description and privacy (public, private or unlisted) as appropriate. YouTube’s current encoder walkthrough is at Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
- Connect the encoder. Copy the stream URL and stream key from the stream settings into the matching fields in your encoder. The key is sensitive: YouTube says, “Stream keys are like your YouTube stream’s password and address.” Do not show it in a capture or share it with people who should not control the broadcast. See Manage live stream settings.
- Add the contact layer in the encoder. Import or create the banner as a persistent text or graphic source, position it, and ensure it stays visible through the tour. Controls vary by encoder, so follow that software’s instructions rather than assuming YouTube provides a universal custom-banner tool.
- Check the preview before going live. Confirm the phone number is readable, the banner does not cover key property details, and both picture and audio are working. Review the stream at the intended output resolution and on a mobile-sized playback view. YouTube recommends testing stream conditions and checking the preview and quality; see YouTube live streaming tips.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Watch for encoder or stream-health problems after going live. If YouTube drops the connection, reconnect using the encoder and stream settings; YouTube’s guidance on avoiding live restrictions is at Avoid restrictions on YouTube live streaming.
If you are choosing resolution, bitrate or related output settings, use YouTube’s encoder-specific guidance rather than guessing: Choose live encoder settings, bitrates, and resolutions.
Give viewers a usable follow-up route
Show the phone number in the video itself and, where appropriate, put a clickable contact page or other permitted destination in the video description. YouTube Live Chat does not allow URLs, and Live Chat is unavailable in embedded players, so neither is a dependable way to deliver the only contact information. See Learn about live streams.

Before publishing a property tour, check the applicable advertising, licensing, privacy and filming-consent rules for the location, brokerage and property circumstances. Those requirements vary; there is no single jurisdiction specified here.
What to check if the contact details are missing or hard to use
- The banner does not appear: Confirm the graphic source is enabled in the encoder, layered above the tour video and included in the scene being sent to YouTube. Check the Control Room preview before starting the broadcast.
- The text is too small on phones: Enlarge the lettering or simplify the copy, then inspect the final output at phone size. Keep the phone number and prompt brief enough to read at a glance.
- The banner blocks a room feature: Move it to a less important area of the frame and review it across the tour footage, not just on a single still image.
- The encoder will not connect: Check that the stream URL and key match the intended stream, and handle the key as a credential. Confirm the stream preview and encoder status before going live.
- Viewers cannot click the contact detail: Put a suitable clickable destination in the description. URLs are not allowed in Live Chat, and embedded players do not offer Live Chat.
- The loop ends before the intended broadcast: Check the duration and looping behavior in the encoder. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived; that does not make YouTube a native looping player for prerecorded tours. See the encoder setup guidance.
Or let it run in the cloud
If the tour is prerecorded and should keep playing on YouTube while your computer is off, StreamNeo is a cloud option: upload the recording, add your YouTube stream key and go live. It keeps the stream running from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. It plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a camera feed, and you still need to make sure the contact details are part of the video or otherwise visible to viewers.
