You can schedule individual bhajan videos to go public at chosen morning or evening times, but YouTube’s documented tools do not schedule a playlist itself to publish on a recurring timetable. Create separate playlists to organize the videos, then schedule each video individually in YouTube Studio.
What YouTube scheduling does—and does not do
YouTube lets you schedule a private video to become public at a specific date and time. Its playlist controls let you create collections, set visibility, and arrange video order, but the documented controls do not provide a way to schedule a playlist itself for recurring morning or evening slots. Keep the two jobs separate: schedule each video’s release, and use playlists to group and present the videos.
Plan morning and evening slots
Choose the audience’s time zone
Decide which audience’s local time should define “morning” and “evening,” then use that time zone consistently when scheduling. For example, a channel serving viewers in India might plan around Indian Standard Time; a channel with a different primary audience should use the zone that makes sense for those viewers. Treat the hours as a plan to evaluate against your own channel’s audience behavior, not as a universal best-time rule.
Make separate collections
Choose clear playlist names such as “Morning Bhajans” and “Evening Bhajans.” These are practical naming examples, not special YouTube formats. Decide which videos belong in each collection and what order viewers should encounter them in.

Create the morning and evening playlists
- In YouTube Studio, choose Create, then New playlist.
- Enter a descriptive title and, if useful, a description explaining the collection.
- Choose the playlist visibility that fits its intended audience, arrange the videos, and create the playlist.
- Repeat for the other slot, then check each playlist’s visibility and order. A private playlist will not work as a public destination for viewers.
You can also create and manage playlists in the YouTube mobile app. To change a playlist’s order, drag videos into position. Reordering is unavailable for playlists that contain only Shorts.
Schedule each bhajan video in YouTube Studio
- Upload the video, or select the relevant video in YouTube Studio.
- Open the video’s scheduling controls and choose its publication date, time, and time zone.
- Save the schedule. The video remains private until its scheduled release time.
- Repeat for every video you want to release in a morning or evening slot. Scheduling one video does not schedule the rest of its playlist.
Before scheduling a batch, check that every video has the intended date, time, and time zone, and that each is included in the correct playlist. YouTube notes that a Community Guidelines strike can prevent a scheduled video from publishing during the penalty period. In that case, the video remains private and must be rescheduled after the penalty period ends.

Check the playlist and the public release date
After scheduling, review playlist membership, visibility, and order separately from each video’s schedule. YouTube says the date displayed beneath a public video is based on Pacific Standard Time. If you schedule from a time zone ahead of PST, the date shown on the public watch page may differ from the date shown in Studio. If the displayed date matters, check it against PST as well as your chosen local schedule.
Optional: use a series playlist for a true sequence
YouTube’s series playlist feature is intended for an official set of videos meant to be watched together. It is not required for ordinary morning and evening categories. To use it, the account must be verified; a video can be included in only one series playlist, and the playlist is restricted to videos uploaded by the channel owner who has the rights. It may fit a sequenced bhajan collection or devotional lesson series when those conditions apply.

Optional: announce a scheduled devotional session
If you want to announce a scheduled session, YouTube separately allows you to schedule a Community post by selecting a date, time, and time zone. That schedules the post—not the playlist—so it is an announcement alongside the individual video schedules, not a substitute for them.
