The conservative documented setup is two independent senders. The available documentation does not confirm whether IRL Pro can run two simultaneous sessions on one phone, so do not rely on that without verifying it first.
What you need for two separate channel feeds
- A live event on each YouTube channel, with each channel eligible to go live.
- The matching server URL and stream key for each event.
- Two independent IRL Pro senders for the conservative documented setup. IRL Pro’s guide describes broadcasting over a single connection, but does not establish that one app session can send separate feeds to two channels.
- Enough upload capacity for both outgoing feeds, including while moving through your usual broadcast environment.
YouTube supports multiple simultaneous live streams up to a platform limit, subject to channel eligibility. That does not remove the need to configure each event and its encoder details separately.
Set up each YouTube event and its credentials
- Check eligibility on both channels. YouTube requires each channel to be verified and live streaming enabled. First-time enablement can take at least 24 hours. Both accounts must be in good standing. See YouTube’s live streaming requirements.
- Create or schedule the first event. In the first channel’s YouTube Studio, open Go Live and create a stream, or use the Manage tab to schedule one. Scheduling lets viewers receive reminders and gives you an event URL to share. Follow YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance.
- Copy that event’s encoder details. Get the YouTube server URL and stream key for the selected event. Label them clearly with the first channel and event; do not mix them with the second channel’s credentials.
- Repeat on the second channel. Sign in to the other channel, create or schedule its own event, and retrieve its own server URL and stream key. YouTube describes repeating the process to broadcast multiple live streams at once, up to a limit.
Configure the IRL Pro senders independently
Enhanced IRL’s IRL Pro guide says the app supports RTMP and SRT and broadcasts over a single connection. Its workflow uses a publish URL from the stream-key provider: choose the protocol in that provider’s dashboard, copy the full publish URL, select the same protocol in IRL Pro, and paste the URL into the URL/server field. With SRT, the key is carried in the streamid; with RTMP, the URL already ends in the key. See the Enhanced IRL IRL Pro guide.
For YouTube, use the connection details YouTube provides for each event, and follow the current instructions for the destination and key fields. Enhanced IRL’s examples describe its own stream-key service; they are not a substitute for YouTube’s event-specific details or confirmation that every protocol is supported by a particular YouTube ingest path.

- Configure sender one with channel one’s event details.
- Configure sender two with channel two’s event details.
- Before going live, verify that each sender is associated with the intended channel and event. A crossed key can send a feed to the wrong event or prevent connection.
- Wait for each event’s preview in YouTube Live Control Room, then click Go live as required by the scheduled-stream workflow.
- Watch stream health for both feeds while broadcasting.
Plan mobile upload capacity for both streams
Add the target bitrates of the two outgoing feeds to estimate the combined upload demand. YouTube’s example is a 6 Mbps feed plus a 4 Mbps feed, or 10 Mbps total; it recommends aiming for 1.5 to 2 times that combined target—15–20 Mbps in that example—particularly on shared connections. This is planning guidance, not a guarantee that a mobile connection will sustain the rate while you move. See YouTube’s live encoder settings and bandwidth guidance.
Enhanced IRL advises setting resolution, frame rate, and bitrate below the applicable plan cap, starting around half the cap, walking your usual route, and increasing only if the bitrate remains stable. Its documentation lists these plan caps and example starting settings; they are Enhanced IRL figures, not YouTube requirements, and may change.

These numbers come from the Enhanced IRL IRL Pro documentation, accessed in 2026; the page does not state a publication year. They are not evidence that your mobile route can sustain those rates. Test with typical movement, video, and audio, then use the health indicators rather than assuming a nominal connection speed will hold.
What one phone or a relay can—and cannot—be assumed to do
The reviewed IRL Pro documentation establishes a single connection per broadcast, not whether the app can run two independent simultaneous sessions on one phone. It also does not establish that a relay can accept one IRL Pro feed and publish separate live events to both channels. If you need two distinct feeds, use independent senders unless you have verified another arrangement with the relevant app, service, and YouTube destination. YouTube supports local encoders for multiple simultaneous streams and cloud services that distribute one feed to multiple destinations, but that general capability does not validate a particular relay for this two-event IRL Pro setup.

Troubleshooting connection and quality problems
IRL Pro reconnects or YouTube shows no signal
Check that the URL and key belong to the intended current event. Enhanced IRL notes that changing a key’s region or protocol, or rotating it, invalidates the old URL; publish and copy the replacement URL. Apply the same principle to YouTube: replace stale or mismatched details with the current event’s encoder information.
The feed degrades while you are moving
Check YouTube’s stream-health indicators and reduce the bitrate if the connection cannot sustain the combined demand. Enhanced IRL recommends SRT over RTMP for its documented stream-key service, or reducing bitrate when already using SRT. That is provider-specific guidance, not a guarantee that the YouTube ingest path supports every protocol or that a protocol change will solve weak mobile coverage. Verify protocol support for your actual destination and connection path.

A feed appears on the wrong event
Stop and verify the event-to-credential mapping on both senders. Keep channel names and event identifiers next to their respective server URLs and keys, and confirm the preview in each channel’s Live Control Room before starting the public broadcast.
The second stream will not start
Confirm that the second channel has live streaming enabled, its event is active or scheduled as expected, and the stream is within YouTube’s simultaneous-stream limit. Check the second sender’s own connection and event credentials rather than assuming the first channel’s successful setup enables the other one.

Copyright and channel-policy checks before a documentary-style broadcast
Separate technical feeds do not grant rights to the footage, music, or other material in either stream. Before broadcasting, confirm that you have permission for the content on each channel and review YouTube’s current rules for live streams and channel eligibility. A technically healthy stream can still be interrupted or create channel-policy problems if its content is not permitted.
