You can run an authorized playlist of recorded Malayalam CBSE lessons as a continuous YouTube livestream by sending it through an encoder or cloud playout service. YouTube does not require a particular computer, hardware encoder, or cloud service: choose the workflow that fits your need for unattended playback, monitoring, and recovery. Before going live, confirm your channel is eligible and that you have permission to rebroadcast every lesson.
Check channel eligibility and lesson rights first
- Your channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time live activation can take up to 24 hours. YouTube also requires live streamers to be at least 16 years old. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
- Secure permission or other applicable rights for every lesson recording, including any music, images, or other material included in it. CBSE affiliation, educational purpose, or owning a copy does not by itself establish permission for public rebroadcast. YouTube says livestreams must follow its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service; the rights status of a particular lesson library must be confirmed with its owner.
Choose how the lesson playlist will play
An encoder takes your video output and sends it to YouTube; as YouTube Help puts it, “An encoder converts your video into a digital format to stream on YouTube.” The playlist and unattended-playback controls depend on the encoder or service you choose, not on a single universal YouTube playlist setting.

YouTube’s encoder guide describes encoder options for live streaming, including continuous prerecorded-video workflows. Test the chosen option with your actual lesson files before depending on it. Prioritize readable board work and slide text, clear audio, and correct lesson order.
Create the broadcast in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio and select Create → Go Live.
- Create a live stream or schedule one. Set its title and description so viewers can identify that it contains recorded lessons, and provide useful context in Malayalam.
- Copy the stream server URL and stream key shown in the live setup. Enter both in your encoder or playout service. Treat the stream key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not control the broadcast.
- Load the authorized lesson playlist in the encoder or service and start sending its video to YouTube.
- Check the Live Control Room preview before you rely on the stream. Confirm that the picture is legible, the sound is audible, the lessons play in the intended sequence, and YouTube reports a healthy incoming stream. YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation exposes stream health status and configuration issue information; what you can see and control in a particular encoder depends on that product.
- When the preview and playlist are correct, start the broadcast in YouTube Studio if the chosen workflow requires that separate action. Confirm the public watch page is live.
The exact playlist setup, automatic restart behavior, and controls differ by encoder or service. Follow its documentation rather than assuming YouTube has one universal control for looping a playlist.

Plan the presentation for lesson viewers
- Use clear Malayalam titles or labels so viewers can tell which lesson is playing. Add subject, class, and topic context where appropriate.
- Check that text on slides and board work remains readable at the size viewers are likely to watch. Preview the actual output rather than relying only on the source file.
- Listen for low, clipped, or missing audio and check transitions between recordings. If the lessons have different sound levels or formats, test those transitions before scheduling unattended playback.
- YouTube offers horizontal and vertical live-stream options, including vertical-stream discovery in the Shorts feed. Choose the layout before starting: YouTube says a vertical format cannot be added after the stream starts. A vertical crop can cut off board work or slide text, so inspect the preview before enabling it. See YouTube’s vertical live-stream information.
Design around monitoring and archives
A continuous stream is an operating goal, not a guarantee that playback will never stop. Monitor the encoder and YouTube’s stream health, and decide who will respond if the playlist stalls, the local connection fails, or YouTube drops the incoming stream. Recovery and alerting depend on the chosen setup; verify those behaviors instead of assuming they are automatic.
YouTube automatically archives streams that are under 12 hours. Do not assume that one uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast will be saved as one complete archive. Keep the original lesson files separately and plan manageable stream sessions or another archive workflow if you need recordings of the broadcast. See YouTube’s live-stream archiving guidance.

YouTube says channels in the YouTube Partner Program can monetize livestreams, but whether a particular channel or lesson playlist qualifies is not established by the fact that it is streamed live.
