When a YouTube Premiere ends, its video remains on your channel as a regular upload. Open the video and turn on Loop to replay that same devotional song continuously. On a TV or game console, use the player’s Repeat control. Autoplay is different: it moves to another related video instead of repeating the current one.
What happens to a Premiere after it ends?
YouTube Help says, “After your video premieres, it stays on your channel as a regular upload.” That means you can open its watch page after the scheduled event and use the ordinary playback controls; you do not need to start another Premiere to hear the recording again. The countdown theme is not part of the video after the event. Chat replay is available separately. YouTube’s Premiere help explains what happens before, during and after a Premiere.

Loop the same devotional song
- Let the Premiere finish, or open the video later from the channel.
- Start playback and open the player’s available controls.
- Choose Loop to repeat the current video continuously. On a computer or mobile watch screen, YouTube’s documented instruction is to right-click inside the video player and select Loop. YouTube’s Loop help page describes the viewer controls.
On some touchscreens or app versions, a right-click instruction may not map to a visible control in the same way. If the layout differs, look through the player’s available controls or settings; YouTube does not document identical button placement for every current app interface.
Use Repeat on a TV or game console
- Play the Premiere’s video from the channel.
- Press down on the remote or controller to open playback controls.
- Choose Repeat until it is set to repeat the current video. Depending on the interface, the control may be in the playback controls or settings.
YouTube’s TV and console instructions also distinguish repeating the current video from repeating a playlist. If you want a sequence of devotional songs, first play a playlist and select its playlist-repeat option; YouTube documents looping playlists as well as individual videos. The exact control placement can vary by device and app version.

Loop, Autoplay and playlists: which should you choose?
| Player behavior | What it does | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Loop / Repeat current video | Plays the same video again continuously. | You want one devotional recording to continue. |
| Autoplay | Starts another related video after the current video ends. | You want YouTube to choose what plays next, not repeat the same song. |
| Playlist repeat | Repeats the playlist rather than only the current track. | You want a collection of songs to play in sequence again. |
YouTube’s Autoplay help page explains that Autoplay starts another related video. It is not the setting for repeating one song. The separate YouTube embedded-player parameters documentation likewise treats autoplay and looping as distinct player behaviors; for ordinary viewing, use the watch-page controls above.
If you are scheduling the Premiere
Repeat playback is a viewer control after the event, not a special Premiere setting. If you are the channel owner and have not scheduled the event yet, YouTube Help recommends scheduling a Premiere at least 24 hours ahead so audiences around the world have an opportunity to see its thumbnail in their subscriptions. This is scheduling guidance, not a guarantee of audience size. See YouTube’s Premiere tips.

Troubleshooting
- A different video starts: Autoplay may be enabled. Turn it off if you do not want related videos to play, then use Loop or Repeat on the current video.
- You cannot find Loop: Confirm you are on the Premiere’s regular watch page and inspect the player controls or settings. On a computer, YouTube documents right-clicking the player and choosing Loop. On TV or console, press down on the remote or controller and look for Repeat. Menus can differ by app and version.
- A playlist starts over instead of one song: The playlist-repeat control repeats the whole playlist. Use the current-video Loop/Repeat control when you want only one song to repeat.
- The countdown or live chat is not in the recording: After the Premiere, the video remains a regular upload; the countdown theme is not included in it, and chat replay is separate.
Or let it run in the cloud
Loop is the right choice when you simply want to replay a Premiere as a viewer. If you are a creator who wants uploaded devotional recordings to run as a continuous YouTube live stream instead, StreamNeo is a cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud keeps the stream running without a computer, OBS or home connection staying on. Every slot streams the file as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it also includes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. Start at StreamNeo’s free trial registration.
