Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →To restart a YouTube playlist after its last video, turn on the playlist’s Loop control—not just single-video repeat or Autoplay. On a computer or mobile device, play a video in the playlist, expand the playlist panel, and select Loop. On a TV or gaming console, open the playback controls and choose Repeat until the label says “Repeat • Playlist.” These are viewer playback controls; they do not restart a creator’s broadcast that is still live.
Loop a playlist on a computer or mobile device
- Open the playlist and start a video that belongs to it.
- Expand the playlist panel so its playback controls are visible.
- Select Loop. The setting repeats the playlist rather than only the current video.
YouTube documents these steps for computer and mobile playback. Interface layout can vary; if you cannot find the control, make sure the playlist panel is expanded and that you are playing a video from the playlist.
Turn on playlist repeat on a TV or gaming console
- Start a video from the playlist.
- Open the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the indicator reads “Repeat • Playlist.”
The “Repeat • Playlist” label distinguishes repeating the full playlist from repeating a single video. YouTube’s device-specific instructions are in its Loop videos or playlists on YouTube help page.
If “Live” means a creator’s ongoing broadcast
Playlist repeat is a viewer playback setting. YouTube documents live streams separately as broadcasts managed through YouTube Studio and Live Control Room, including workflows that use an encoder. Its playlist-loop instructions do not describe a way to restart or continue a broadcast that is still live. For creator-side setup, start with YouTube’s Get started with live streaming guidance and the controls for your chosen live workflow.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
If you mean a completed livestream replay, it can be treated as a playlist video when it is available for playback and included in the playlist. The playlist’s Loop control repeats the playlist; the documented instructions do not identify special repeat behavior for livestream replays.
Loop a playlist in an embedded player
For a website embed, Google’s player parameters offer a separate way to repeat playlist playback. Set loop=1 to play the playlist again from its first video. For an embed containing just one video, also set the playlist parameter to that same video’s ID.

These parameters configure an embedded player; they do not change playback in the YouTube website or mobile app. Google documents the behavior in YouTube Embedded Players and Player Parameters.
Loop is not the same as Autoplay
Autoplay and Loop do different jobs. In Google’s embedded-player documentation, autoplay determines whether the initial video starts automatically when the player loads. The loop parameter controls playlist repetition. Turning on Autoplay alone does not tell the playlist to begin again after its final video.

Troubleshoot a playlist that stops
- Only one video repeats: Check that you enabled playlist Loop, or on a TV or console that the control reads “Repeat • Playlist.”
- The next video does not start automatically: Autoplay is a separate setting and is not a substitute for playlist repeat.
- You are trying to keep a broadcast live: The playlist playback control is for viewers, not a documented broadcast-continuity setting. Use the live-stream workflow in YouTube Studio or Live Control Room instead.
- You are embedding the playlist: Check that the embed uses
loop=1; for a single-video embed, include the same video ID in theplaylistparameter.
Or let it run in the cloud
