Grow by using the tools built into your platform, protecting the account and email behind it, and keeping passwords out of a manager’s hands. Fansly’s official guidance documents discovery, privacy, and delegated-access features; those details should not be assumed to apply to OnlyFans. For OnlyFans, check its official site and current help center before following platform-specific steps.
Use platform-native discovery rather than growth promises
Fansly’s Creator Guide describes the For You page, profile categories, and hashtags as ways creators can be discovered. It also covers setting up a profile, posting, messaging, subscriptions, and pay-per-view monetization.
These are features to use, not guarantees of reach, followers, or income. Build a complete profile, choose relevant categories and hashtags, and maintain a posting and communication routine you can sustain. Be wary of anyone selling a guaranteed audience or earnings outcome: the platform’s guide does not promise one.
Secure the account and the email attached to it
Your linked email is part of your account’s security boundary: someone who can access it may be able to interfere with account recovery. Fansly’s hacked-account guidance recommends changing to a strong, unique password, securing the linked email, and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on both accounts where possible. Fansly’s account-basics guidance says 2FA helps protect against unauthorized logins and creator payout requests.
#1 Best Overall
- Use a different password for your creator account and its email account.
- Enable 2FA wherever the service offers it, including on the email account.
- Never share a login code or approve a sign-in you did not initiate.
Give managers access without giving away your password
If you hire an assistant or agency, separate the service agreement from access to your account. Fansly documents Management Sessions as a way for trusted assistants or managers to access an account without the creator sharing their password, and recommends 2FA. See its Creator Security FAQ for platform-specific details.
Before hiring anyone, put the practical terms in writing. Clarify what work they may do, what they charge, who owns the account and content, how either party can end the arrangement, and what happens to access afterward. Ask for references you can verify. These are prudent contract checks, not guarantees that a provider is trustworthy.

Check the site before entering credentials
Fansly says its official site is fansly.com and that other domains imitating Fansly are fraudulent. Type the address yourself or use a saved bookmark; do not rely on a login link sent in an unsolicited message. This domain guidance is specific to Fansly. OnlyFans users should verify the official site and instructions through OnlyFans itself.
For a fake profile or stolen material on Fansly, follow the platform’s reporting and DMCA instructions in Someone Has Stolen My Identity. Avoid paying an unknown person who claims they can remove content or recover an account; use the platform’s official process.
Use privacy controls with realistic expectations
Fansly’s security guidance describes Privacy & Safety controls, timeline visibility options, and blocking. Use the settings to manage who can see or contact you, and review them as your needs change. They can reduce unwanted exposure and contact, but they cannot guarantee that a viewer will not record, copy, or redistribute content.
Fansly requires creators to be at least 18 and legally adult where they reside, and describes age, identity, and consent verification in its Getting Started on Fansly guidance. Follow the current platform process and submit sensitive documents only through the official service—not to an unsolicited recruiter or manager.

If you suspect an account compromise
- Change your Fansly password to a strong, unique one if you can still sign in.
- Secure the linked email. Change its password and enable 2FA if available.
- Enable Fansly 2FA if you have not already done so.
- Contact official Fansly support if you are locked out, using the steps in its hacked-account guidance.
- Report impersonation or stolen content through Fansly’s official process rather than a third-party recovery or takedown offer.
For OnlyFans, use its current official recovery and security instructions; Fansly’s procedures and settings are not a substitute.
