Use The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ official Meetinghouse Locator to search by your address or area in Cambodia. Check the congregation’s meeting time and contact details before setting out; schedules and local listings can change. If you would feel more comfortable arriving with someone, you can ask missionaries to meet you.
You can also consult the Church’s Cambodia locations page, which lists local addresses and phone numbers in Khmer. The two routes work well together: use the locator to search around a particular address and see meeting details, then use a local listing or contact to resolve anything that is unclear. Below are practical steps for finding a congregation, checking the information, and knowing what a first visit may be like.
Find a nearby congregation with the official locator
The Church’s Meetinghouse Locator is the most direct way to look for a Sunday congregation near you. The Church describes it as an interactive map that can show nearby chapels, service times and contact information. It is intended for location-based discovery, so begin with the place from which you expect to travel rather than trying to infer the nearest congregation from general country statistics.
- Open the Meetinghouse Locator.
- Enter the address or area in Cambodia where you want to attend. A full address or neighborhood can help narrow the search. If you are searching for another person, use the area that is convenient for that person, not necessarily your own location.
- Review the nearby meetinghouse results and note the location, service time and contact details shown for the congregation. If several results appear, compare the listed locations and times rather than choosing based only on a familiar city or district name.
- Before traveling, confirm the selected congregation’s current time and exact location using the live locator or the local contact information.
Use the map as a starting point and read the specific result carefully. A location pin helps identify where a meetinghouse is, but the time and contact details are the pieces you need to plan attendance. If the result does not clearly answer your question, use another official route to verify it rather than guessing from a neighboring listing.

The locator’s details are more useful for planning a visit than countrywide membership figures, which describe the Church generally rather than provide a live directory of Sunday meetings. A statistic about how many congregations exist in Cambodia cannot tell you which one is nearest to a particular address, whether it meets at a convenient time, or whether a detail has recently changed. For those practical questions, use the congregation-level listing and confirm it close to your visit.
Check Cambodia’s local locations listing
The Church also publishes a Cambodia locations and addresses page with local locations and phone numbers. Its listings include Phnom Penh, southern and northern Phnom Penh, and locations in several districts. This can be useful if you already know the city or district you are looking for, or if you want a phone contact associated with a local listing.
The page is in Khmer, so if you do not read Khmer, you may need browser translation or help from a local contact. Translation can help you interpret a listing, but it is still sensible to verify the address and meeting time directly. Place names and district labels may be easier to compare when you have a specific neighborhood or address in mind. If a translated entry is unclear, do not treat an uncertain translation as confirmation that you have found the right congregation.
The global locator and the Cambodia page serve different purposes: the locator supports an address-based search and provides meeting details, while the country page offers local address and phone listings. One is not a substitute for checking the details on the other when you need certainty about where and when to go. If an address or meeting time differs between the two, check the live locator or contact the congregation before leaving. Do not assume that a listing or schedule is current simply because it appears on a page.

A practical way to use both is to search the locator first, then compare the resulting location with the Cambodia listing if the local page has a relevant city or district entry. If the local listing includes a phone number, you can use it to clarify details that are not obvious online. If you cannot establish that two entries refer to the same place, ask for clarification rather than choosing one on the basis of a similar place name.
Verify the details before you travel
Meeting times, contact information and local arrangements can change. Confirm the congregation you have selected shortly before setting out, especially if you found the information through an older page, a translated listing or a result that did not clearly identify a service time. The Church’s location pages are the appropriate place to begin, but the most useful confirmation is one that matches the specific congregation you plan to attend.

Check three details together: the exact meetinghouse location, the service time, and a way to contact the local congregation if you need clarification. These details answer different questions. A correct time is not helpful if the address is ambiguous, and an address alone does not tell you when a service is held. Keep the congregation name or listing available while you confirm so that your question refers to the same place shown by the locator.
If you see conflicting details, do not assume the earlier or more convenient time is correct. Compare the current locator result with the Cambodia locations page or contact the local listing. If you still cannot resolve a discrepancy, seek local confirmation before traveling. The available English-language information may not cover every congregation with complete, current hours and phone details, so a missing detail does not necessarily mean there is no congregation in the area.

Country-level totals and historical dates are useful context, but they should not be used as a substitute for a current location check. A country profile cannot confirm a particular congregation’s Sunday schedule. Likewise, a page describing one congregation’s arrangements should not be treated as a schedule for every congregation in Cambodia.
Ask someone to meet you if you prefer
You do not have to arrange your first visit alone. The Church says visitors can request that missionaries meet them at the meetinghouse door. Its guidance for helping a friend find a meetinghouse points people to the locator for a chapel, service time and contact information. If arriving alone feels difficult, ask for this help while you are arranging the visit rather than waiting until you reach the building.
You can also use the Church’s Contact Us page to request local contact or help connecting with missionaries. Explain the area or congregation you are trying to find and that you would like help confirming the meeting details or being met when you arrive. The Church states that missionary visits are free. This is an option for someone who wants a point of contact; you do not need to request a visit in order to use the locator.
If you are helping a friend, share the official locator link and let them enter their own address or area. That allows them to see nearby meetinghouses, service times and contact information for themselves. You can also offer to help compare the locator with the Cambodia listing or help interpret the Khmer-language page. A person who prefers to attend with someone can ask for missionaries to meet them, but the choice to contact missionaries or attend on their own is theirs.

What to expect on your first visit
Visitors are welcome, and participation is optional. You can sit and observe rather than join in. During the sacrament, the bread and water are passed to attendees; if you do not wish to participate, you may simply pass the tray along. You do not need to take part in every part of a meeting to be present. Official visitor guidance says to wear clothes you feel comfortable in, so there is no need to buy special clothing just to visit.
A local Phnom Penh congregation page describes a two-hour format with a main meeting and another class, and says people of all ages are welcome. That description is specific to the local page; arrangements can differ by congregation. Check with the location you plan to visit if you need to confirm its schedule or what to expect. Do not assume the Phnom Penh page describes the precise schedule or format at a different meetinghouse.
If you are uncertain about what happens during a meeting, you can ask a local contact or the missionaries who meet you. You can also choose to observe first and decide for yourself how much to participate. The visitor information makes clear that participation is not required. If you are attending with children or other family members, the local page’s statement that people of all ages are welcome is encouraging, but confirm any specific arrangements with the congregation you plan to visit.
For planning, the key distinction is between general visitor guidance and local arrangements. The Church’s visitor guidance addresses what visitors may do, including sitting quietly, passing the sacrament tray and wearing comfortable clothes. A local congregation page can give information about a particular meeting’s format. A confirmed local schedule is the best way to know when to arrive; avoid applying one congregation’s details to another.

The Church’s country profile reported 18,070 members and 30 congregations in Cambodia as of its December 31, 2025 update. The 30 congregations comprised 9 wards and 21 branches. The profile also listed 2 stakes, 2 missions, 4 districts and 12 FamilySearch centers; those figures provide context but do not identify which Sunday meeting is nearest to you. Use the Cambodia country profile for the dated statistics and the locator or local listing to plan a visit.
These figures have a date: they are reported as of December 31, 2025, not as a live count of members or an updated map of Sunday services. “Congregations” is the combined total of wards and branches in that profile. The figures can help explain that the Church has an organized presence in the country, but they do not show which locations are open for a particular meeting or whether an address and time are current.

The Church’s history page says missionary work resumed in Cambodia in 1994 and the country’s first two stakes were organized in 2014. Those milestones describe the history of the Church in the country, not current directions or meeting schedules. For practical purposes, the current locator and a direct local confirmation matter more than those historical milestones.

If you know your address or neighborhood and want to find the closest option, begin with the global locator. It is address-based and is intended to show nearby chapels, service times and contact information. If you already know the city or district, or want to check a local address and phone number, consult the Cambodia locations page as well. Since that page is in Khmer, use translation or local assistance if needed.

If you are unsure which result is right, compare the exact address and contact details rather than relying on a broad area name. If the information does not agree, seek confirmation from the live locator or the local contact before traveling. If your main concern is arriving alone, request that missionaries meet you. If your main concern is what happens during a meeting, use the visitor guidance and confirm local details with the congregation. These are separate questions, and you can address each one without having to make assumptions.
There is no special product needed to locate a congregation. The Church provides free online location tools, and its visitor guidance says clothing can be comfortable rather than prescribed. Missionary visits are free as well. The practical next step is to identify a location, verify the time and address, and decide whether you would like someone to meet you.

The Bottom Line
Start with the official Meetinghouse Locator, enter your Cambodian address or area, and confirm the specific congregation’s time and address before you travel. Use the Cambodia locations page or a local contact to clarify details, and request missionaries to meet you if that would make a first visit more comfortable. Visitors may observe without participating and can wear comfortable clothes.
