Use the image link field to make the artwork clickable, or add links in the description with Markdown. Twitch panels appear on your channel page below the video; they are not graphics overlaid on the live stream.
What Twitch panels do—and what they do not do
Info panels are customizable sections on your Twitch channel page. They can combine a title, an image, a clickable image destination and a description. Use them to explain your channel, share a schedule or rules, or direct visitors to relevant social and support pages. They are separate from on-stream overlays, which appear over the video itself. Twitch Help describes the channel page’s Info Panels as a place for broadcasters to curate personalized information.
Create and publish a panel on Twitch
1. Open the panel editor
- Go to your Twitch channel page.
- Turn on Edit Panels. Twitch says you can do this from the channel page while live, or from the About section while offline.
2. Add the image and its destination
- Select the plus control to add a panel.
- For an image panel, upload your prepared artwork and enter a title.
- If visitors should be able to click the image, add the destination in the panel’s image-link field. This is the key distinction between an image that is merely decorative and one that opens a page.
3. Add a description and submit
Use the description to provide context or additional links. Twitch supports Markdown formatting and links in panel descriptions, but not HTML. Submit the panel when its fields are complete; use the plus control again to add more.
4. Review the channel page
Turn Edit Panels off and inspect the published layout as a visitor would see it. If panels are out of order, enable editing again and drag them into place. Use Remove to delete a panel that is no longer useful.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Panel image dimensions and file limits
Twitch’s two official help pages give conflicting limits. How to Edit Info Panels says images should be under 1 MB and no larger than 320 pixels wide by 600 pixels high. Channel Page Setup instead says under 2.9 MB and no larger than 320 by 300 pixels. Both pages say oversized images are automatically resized.
For a cautious first export, keep the image no wider than 320 pixels, no taller than 300 pixels, and below 1 MB. These are the stricter limits across the two Twitch pages, rather than one consistent specification. Try uploading it in the editor and confirm that Twitch accepts it before publishing.

Streamlabs separately recommends 320 Ă— 160 pixels and a 2.9 MB limit, while its guidance also mentions a 3:1 aspect ratio that does not match those dimensions. Given the discrepancy, treat the editor’s acceptance as the practical check and prioritize the conservative Twitch-based dimensions above.
What to include in custom panels
Make each panel answer a likely visitor question. Twitch recommends information about the broadcaster and channel, social media links and stream timing. Common choices include:

For example, a tipping panel can use an image that links directly to a tipping page. StreamElements documents this as one setup example: create the panel in Twitch, upload its image and link it to the StreamElements tipping page. See StreamElements’ account and initial setup instructions.
Make the panel artwork yourself or use a template
You can create the artwork in an image editor, commission a designer, or start with a template. Streamlabs’ digital panel maker offers templates and controls for font style, text, size and position, then lets you download finished panels as a ZIP file. The tool creates the image files; you still upload and link them in Twitch’s panel editor. Streamlabs explains its panel maker workflow.

Choose an approach based on the work you need to do: templates can provide a starting layout, while designing from scratch or commissioning artwork may give you more control over the final style. If you expect to revise panels later, keep the editable source files as well as the exported images. These are practical considerations, not measured comparisons of design time or results.

Custom Twitch panels are channel-page graphics; they do not keep a live video running. If you also want a pre-recorded video to stream continuously on YouTube, StreamNeo is a separate option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. It streams the uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers, and can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream.
