You can run a continuous Navratri bhajan stream on YouTube by preparing a rights-cleared audio-and-video program, creating a YouTube live event, and sending it through an encoder. For a do-it-yourself setup, the encoder and internet connection must stay available and someone should monitor the stream. First enable live streaming and clear every recording and composition for live use; a copyright match can interrupt a broadcast even when you believe you have permission.
Before you build the stream
Enable YouTube Live in advance
Your channel must be verified and have no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before your planned broadcast and check YouTube Studio for restrictions. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance.
Decide what the stream will show
For a prepared bhajan program, assemble the audio and visuals into a continuous feed for an encoder. Visuals might include a title card or other material you have the right to use. An encoder can send software-generated or hardware-generated video to YouTube; dedicated hardware is optional, not a YouTube requirement.
Clear the bhajan music before streaming
Do not assume that a song is free to stream because it is devotional, traditional, available online, or licensed for a normal video. A bhajan recording can involve separate rights in the sound recording and the underlying composition. Identify the relevant rights holders and get permission that expressly covers live streaming, your intended territories, the broadcast duration, and any archived replay you plan to leave available.

YouTube’s Livestream Terms and Conditions put the obligation on the provider to have all rights necessary for the live content, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. The terms do not determine which licenses apply to a particular bhajan, recording, country, or use; confirm the rights for the exact material and territories with the relevant rightsholders.
Plan for Content ID matching
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may trigger a warning and replace the stream with a placeholder; if the matched content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. If you have a license, ask the rights owner whether your channel needs to be added to its Content ID allowlist. Allowlisting helps address automated matching; it does not replace the permission itself. Read YouTube’s live-stream copyright guidance.
Creator Music does not clear a live broadcast
YouTube says Creator Music licenses and revenue-sharing options do not cover live streams. Choose permissions that specifically authorize live transmission rather than relying on a license intended for an ordinary video. See Creator Music availability and use and the Creator Music FAQ.

Choose an encoder and prepare the program
Software or hardware
YouTube supports both software encoders and standalone hardware encoders. Software can be suitable for a prepared program if the computer, application, and connection can run continuously. Hardware can suit a dedicated production setup, but YouTube does not require it. Compare options by sustained operation, restart and recovery behavior, looping or scheduling controls, audio monitoring, supported codecs and resolutions, and total cost. No particular hardware model is necessary for this workflow.

Build and test the loop
Check that the video and audio join cleanly at the loop point, that the audio is audible and free of unintended silence or clipping, and that the visuals are appropriate for the whole program. Test the actual encoder output before relying on a long broadcast. Continuous playback does not remove the need to monitor the stream for encoder, network, audio, and copyright problems.
Create the YouTube event and configure the encoder

Open the event’s stream settings in Live Control Room and copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder’s streaming settings. Keep the stream key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a feed to your event. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.

Set the encoder to use RTMPS where available. YouTube recommends H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR) encoding, AAC or MP3 audio, and a two-second keyframe interval. Use the resolution and bitrate combination that your sustained upload connection can support; consult YouTube’s current encoder settings and bitrate guidance for the selected resolution and frame rate rather than treating one bitrate as universal.

Start the encoder in preview or test mode if available. Check the Live Control Room preview, audio, picture, and stream health before starting the public broadcast. YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance describes the encoder workflow.

Start the event, then verify playback on the public watch page and on a mobile device. Confirm that the picture and sound remain synchronized and that the stream is actually live to viewers.
Keep a do-it-yourself stream running around the clock
A 24/7 stream depends on every part of the chain staying available: the encoder, the source media, power, internet connection, and YouTube event. Arrange monitoring for encoder status, network loss, audio, and rights alerts. Decide who will respond if the feed stops, and test how to restart it. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring, but its cited creator guidance does not establish an uptime guarantee for an individual channel.
- Connection: use a stable upload connection that can sustain the chosen resolution and bitrate; test it under the conditions in which the stream will run.
- Recovery: know how to restart the encoder and reconnect it to the correct event if the stream drops. A persistent problem may require checking the stream key, network, encoder output, or a YouTube rights alert.
- Monitoring: check stream health and listen to the live output periodically. A running status alone will not reveal every audio or content problem.
- Rights response: keep permission records and a contact for the relevant rights owner available in case a Content ID match affects the live feed.

Troubleshooting common problems
You cannot start a live stream
Check that the channel is verified, has no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days, and has completed live-stream activation. First activation may take up to 24 hours. Check YouTube Studio for channel notices or restrictions.
The encoder connects but the event does not show the right feed
Check that the encoder has the correct event’s stream URL and key, and that the event is open in Live Control Room. If the key may have been exposed or is no longer current, reset it in Studio and replace the value in the encoder.
Stream health is poor or the feed disconnects
Compare the encoder’s resolution and bitrate with YouTube’s current guidance and the upload connection’s sustained capacity. Reduce the output demand if the connection cannot sustain it, confirm RTMPS and the recommended encoding settings, and test again before resuming a long broadcast.

Check that the encoder is receiving the intended audio source, that AAC or MP3 audio is configured, and that sound is present in the Live Control Room preview. Inspect the source program’s loop point for gaps or abrupt transitions and listen to the public playback after starting.
YouTube warns about copyrighted content
Review the alert and identify the matched material. Do not assume that a general video license covers a live stream. If you have explicit live-stream permission, contact the rights owner about Content ID allowlisting; if the rights are not clear, remove or replace the material rather than leaving a match in the feed.
