If the OneStream Live broadcast is already streaming on YouTube, the available official instructions do not confirm that you can add another video mid-broadcast. They do document adding videos to a pre-recorded stream before scheduling it, including one configured around an existing YouTube event. An existing event is not the same as an already-live broadcast.
First, check what “active” means
OneStream Live’s guide for an “Existing Event” describes setting up a broadcast for an event that already exists on YouTube. The workflow still involves adding the video and clicking Schedule Broadcast; it does not document inserting a video into output that is already live. OneStream Live’s existing-event instructions therefore should not be treated as a mid-stream editing procedure.
- Already live: The reviewed instructions do not establish a way to append a video to the current broadcast. Ask OneStream support whether your account’s current workflow supports it, or schedule the video as a subsequent broadcast.
- Scheduled or not yet running: You can set up a pre-recorded stream and schedule it to the connected YouTube channel. If you mean an existing YouTube event, follow the separate setup steps below.
Add a video to a pre-recorded stream before it goes live
- In the OneStream Live web app, open Pre-recorded Stream from the dashboard.
- Click Add Videos.
- Choose a source: Device, OSL Storage, or Cloud Storage.
- Select the video and continue.
- Select the destination, including your connected YouTube channel, and continue.
- Enter the stream details and continue.
- Click Schedule Broadcast.
These steps configure a broadcast before it is scheduled; they do not establish that changing the video selection will change a stream already in progress. See OneStream Live’s pre-recorded video guide for its documented workflow.
Queue multiple videos as a playlist
If you want several videos to play back-to-back in one scheduled broadcast, OneStream Live documents a playlist workflow. Its help article says playlist streaming is available on Professional and Enterprise plans; check your account’s current plan and features before relying on that availability.

- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Open Pre-recorded Stream and click Add Videos.
- Select the videos you want from your device, OSL Storage, or cloud storage.
- Choose the desired number of videos for the playlist.
- Select destinations, enter stream details, and schedule the broadcast.
OneStream describes this as queueing multiple videos to stream back-to-back as a single live broadcast. That describes a playlist set up for a broadcast, not a confirmed way to insert new content after a broadcast has begun. Refer to OneStream Live’s playlist guide for the current documented steps.
Attach a video to an existing YouTube event
For an existing YouTube event that has not yet been set up as a OneStream broadcast, OneStream’s guide describes this sequence:

- Add the video.
- Review the title, description, thumbnail, privacy settings, and scheduled time.
- Click Schedule Broadcast.
Because the workflow ends by scheduling a broadcast, it is for configuring an event before it runs—not proof that you can add video to a broadcast that is already live. If your stream has started, contact OneStream Live support for confirmation rather than assuming that editing an event or playlist will alter the live output.
If the stream has already started
The reviewed OneStream Live instructions provide no confirmed mid-broadcast add-video procedure. Do not rely on the existing-event workflow or playlist editor to change the current output. Ask OneStream support whether the feature is available in your account’s current workflow. If it is not, schedule the new video as a subsequent broadcast.
