If you’re looking for free Starbucks coffee the day after the Super Bowl, the 2026 offer has expired. It was redeemable for one day only: Monday, February 9, 2026. Starbucks Rewards members could get one free tall brewed coffee with a qualifying beverage purchase at participating U.S. stores.
How the February 9, 2026, Starbucks offer worked
Starbucks announced the one-day promotion on February 5, 2026, describing it as a post-Big Game offer: “With free coffee on Monday, everyone wins the day after the Big Game.” The rules appeared in the Starbucks announcement.
- Join Starbucks Rewards: Membership was required.
- Buy a qualifying beverage: The purchase had to be equal to or greater in value than the free coffee.
- Choose the free coffee: The offer covered one tall (12 fl. oz.) brewed hot or iced coffee per member.
- Redeem in person: The offer was valid at participating U.S. stores, not through delivery.
Ready-to-drink beverages and alcohol did not qualify as the purchased beverage. Customizations could cost extra.
What new Rewards members could do
Starbucks said customers could join Rewards before their coffee run. If a new member did not see a coupon in the app’s Offers tab, the company advised ordering in-store with a barista and mentioning that they were a new member. That guidance was for the in-store offer; it does not establish a delivery option or guarantee availability at every location.
