Tami Roman’s clearest first-person account, in a 2013 interview, described three things together: NV Clinical supplements, workouts with a trainer, and changes to her meals. She said she lost seven pounds in the first two weeks, but that was her claim in a product-promotional interview—not an independently verified result or proof that the supplement caused it.
What Tami Roman said she did
In a January 2013 interview with OK!, Roman discussed using NV Clinical and NV Clinical Sprinkles while making other changes. She said, “I also started working out with a trainer.” She also described changing her approach to meals: “I’m trying to switch my thought process on meals, including more salads, high protein and less carbs and limited snacking on junk food.”
Roman called NV Clinical “the fastest weight-loss product I have tried” and said she had lost seven pounds in the first two weeks. The interview promoted the product, and her statement is a personal report. It does not establish that the product caused the loss or that another person would have the same result.
Where the 25-pound story comes from
A 2012 TV One post repeated claims attributed to TMZ sources: Roman was said to weigh 185 pounds, have a goal of losing 25 pounds for an endorsement, and lose that weight in about two months while exercising, eating healthfully, and using NV Sprinkles. These are secondhand figures and a timeline attributed to sources by the post, not independently verified measurements. TV One also disclaimed responsibility for contributing authors’ views.

The two accounts should not be blended into a single confirmed record. The 2013 interview gives Roman’s own description of her approach and a seven-pound claim for the first two weeks; the 2012 post relays a separate, sourced-to-TMZ account of a 25-pound goal and approximate timeline.
What the accounts establish—and what they do not
They establish that Roman publicly described using the supplements alongside exercise and dietary changes. They do not establish a causal effect from NV Clinical, a verified total loss based on her first-person account, her exact workout schedule or calorie intake, or her current routine or product use.

A 2013 review by Supplement Clarity said the product marketing it examined did not provide titles or publication details for the studies it referenced. That is the reviewer’s report, not a comprehensive or current clinical review; the cited study could not be independently verified from the available accounts. The celebrity reports therefore should not be treated as clinical evidence of the supplement’s effectiveness.

In a 2021 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Roman said she was later diagnosed with body dysmorphia and described having abused laxatives, starved herself, and vomited food. The article also noted that she had her jaw wired shut to lose weight during The Real World.

That context matters: a story framed only as fast weight loss can obscure serious harm. Roman’s past behaviors are not a model or recommendation, and her accounts of supplements, training, and food choices do not make rapid weight loss a safe or appropriate target for others.

How to read the claims
- Seven pounds in two weeks: Roman’s claim in a 2013 product-promotional interview.
- Twenty-five pounds in about two months and a reported weight of 185 pounds: claims TV One attributed to TMZ sources in 2012, not independently verified in that post.
- Cause: neither account proves that NV Clinical produced the reported weight loss.
- Current status: these are historical accounts; they do not establish Roman’s present-day practices or whether she still uses the product.
