The Evening Standard reported on 16 February 2026 that the pair were watching the draw on a phone. After Jackman prodded Reynolds as Chelsea came out, Reynolds asked, “We’re home?” Jackman answered, “That’s what you wanted!” The quoted exchange is the Standard’s transcription of the video, rather than a separately verified transcript.

The Standard described Reynolds cupping his hands over his mouth before high-fiving, roaring and applauding. Its report characterized the response as exuberant; the reaction can be summed up without repeating the profanity printed in its article.
Which fixture prompted the reaction?
Wrexham were drawn at home to Chelsea in the fifth round of the 2025–26 FA Cup. Chelsea’s official draw list recorded the tie as “Wrexham vs Chelsea” and said the matches were due around the weekend of 7–8 March 2026. That draw established the opponent and venue; the actors’ clip captured their response to the news.

The Evening Standard’s report was published on 16 February 2026. Sky Sports posted a video entry the following day, 17 February, describing Reynolds as delighted and crediting the clip to @VancityReynolds. The Standard’s account identifies the pair as watching together and supplies the reported dialogue.

Wrexham reached the tie after beating Nottingham Forest on penalties following a 3–3 draw, then defeating Ipswich Town 1–0, according to Chelsea’s official preview. The Chelsea match therefore set up a notable fifth-round challenge for the Welsh club.
