Was Olivia d’Abo 14 or 15 during filming?
Both ages are part of the timeline: TV Insider reports that d’Abo was 14 when filming started and celebrated her 15th birthday on set. The profile lists her birth date as January 22, 1969. The available account therefore supports saying she turned 15 during production—not that she was already 15 when filming began. TV Insider’s biography reports this chronology.

Who did she play in the film?
D’Abo portrayed Princess Jehnna. The American Film Institute catalog entry identifies her character, while Universal Pictures lists her among the cast.
Why is her age remembered?
In an interview with StarTrek.com, d’Abo recalled that Conan the Destroyer was her first film and said people ask her about it because she was so young. That interview confirms her recollection of the role’s significance, but does not give the exact filming-and-birthday sequence; that chronology is reported by TV Insider.

When was Conan the Destroyer released?
Conan the Destroyer is a 1984 film. AFI’s catalog places its production in 1983 and records a September 1984 release context; Universal also identifies it as a 1984 film. Those dates help explain how d’Abo could have turned 15 during production before the film reached audiences.
