Time with her daughter and family
“My daughter, my family, [and] sharing with them always fills me with energy,” she told interviewer Lena Hansen. The profile focuses in part on her daughter, Vida Isabelle, and on the place family held in Natasha’s life at the time.
Creative work and happy music
Natasha said she felt more creative when she went into the studio and was excited for listeners to hear what she had been making. She connected that work to her outlook: “in the midst of everything that’s going on, I always stay positive with happy music.”

Writing letters to Raphy Pina
The profile says Natasha wrote letters to Raphy Pina during his incarceration and credited that correspondence, alongside her music, as another source of happiness. It presents this as part of her own experience, rather than a general prescription for coping with difficult circumstances.
How she approaches positivity with her daughter
Natasha said she was conscious of bringing fresh, positive energy to Vida so her daughter could enjoy her childhood. She also wanted Vida to learn from situations around her while still having a good foundation for that stage of life.
