Pollstar reported that Coldplay’s 10 April 2025 concerts in Hong Kong and South Korea grossed $67.4 million in ticket sales—an average of $6.74 million per show. That is box-office revenue, not a confirmed payment to the band. Public reporting does not disclose Chris Martin’s or his bandmates’ individual concert salaries or take-home earnings.

What Coldplay’s April 2025 shows grossed

Pollstar’s reported figures cover four performances in Hong Kong and six in South Korea. The market totals were $32.9 million and $34.4 million, respectively; Pollstar gave a combined gross of $67.4 million and an average of $6.74 million across all 10 concerts. The two market subtotals add to $67.3 million, a small difference consistent with rounded reported figures. Pollstar’s April 2025 report is the source for the combined figure.

April 2025 run Shows Tickets sold Reported box-office gross
Hong Kong 4 183,980 $32.9 million
South Korea 6 318,309 $34.4 million
Combined, as reported by Pollstar 10 502,289 $67.4 million; $6.74 million average per concert

Does a $6.74 million gross mean Coldplay gets that much?

No. A box-office gross is the reported ticket revenue associated with a show; it is not the band’s salary, profit, or net payout. The Associated Press explains that Pollstar chart figures draw on reported and estimated box-office data, and ticket sales and gross revenue are distinct measures. Neither gross figure establishes the amount ultimately paid to an artist.

The cited reporting does not disclose Coldplay’s promoter settlement, tour expenses, contractual terms, or how any proceeds are divided. It therefore cannot establish what Chris Martin or any other member personally earns per concert. Dividing the gross by the four band members would not produce a supported salary estimate: it would assume both that the gross is available to the band and that proceeds are divided equally, neither of which is established by the public figures.

How the 2025 concert average fits into the tour’s totals

The April Asia run is a defined group of 10 shows, not a universal rate for every Coldplay concert. Pollstar’s December 2025 account says the Music of the Spheres World Tour concluded after 225 shows in 43 countries across five continents. Its 2025 touring-chart entry lists $390,489,072 in gross across 50 dates, 2,918,405 tickets, and an average ticket price of $133.80. Those are figures for the chart’s 2025 entry, not a per-show salary or a total that should be mistaken for the Asia run’s gross. See Pollstar’s December 2025 tour report.

What the tour earned in 2024—and why totals need dates

Pollstar’s 2024 year-end analysis reported more than $421.7 million gross from 3,293,480 tickets at 54 stadium concerts during that year, and more than $1.14 billion in cumulative grosses through 2024. The 2024 figures describe a different period from Pollstar’s 2025 chart entry. They should not be added together casually: reporting periods and definitions can differ, and a year’s chart entry is not automatically a cumulative tour total. Pollstar’s 2024 year-end analysis provides the earlier figures.

The Associated Press later reported a $1.39 billion tour gross based on Pollstar’s September 2025 reporting. That figure reflects a different reporting point from Pollstar’s year-end 2024 cumulative figure and its 2025 chart entry; the published numbers should be kept attached to their respective dates and reporting bases rather than treated as interchangeable. The AP report describes Pollstar’s use of reported and estimated box-office data.

What can—and cannot—be concluded about band salaries

  • Supported: Pollstar reported a $6.74 million average box-office gross per concert across Coldplay’s 10 April 2025 shows in Hong Kong and South Korea.
  • Not established by these figures: the band’s net proceeds, the amount paid to Chris Martin, or the compensation of any other member.
  • Important context: the Music of the Spheres World Tour wrapped in 2025, according to Pollstar. The 2025 data should not be presented as a guaranteed rate for a future tour or concert.

For any concert-gross comparison, keep the year, number of dates, geography, and measure beside the figure. A per-show average, a market run, an annual chart entry, a cumulative tour gross, and an individual salary answer different questions.
