A later Parade earnings article gives a broader range of $50,000–$150,000 per episode. The lower figures differ, so the two reports do not establish one precise rate.
Does that mean she earned $1.8 million for Hotel?
No confirmed season total is established. Parade says Gaga appeared in 12 episodes of Hotel and calculates $1.8 million by multiplying all 12 episodes by the top reported rate of $150,000. That is a hypothetical upper-end calculation, not evidence of what she was paid.

Parade also suggests a $1.95 million total for Hotel and her three Roanoke episodes by assuming rates across both seasons. That figure is likewise speculative; the reviewed sources do not disclose a confirmed total for her appearances across the franchise.

The estimates concern American Horror Story: Hotel, the anthology series’ fifth season. FX identifies Gaga as The Countess on its official cast page. In a 2015 report republished by TIME, series creator Ryan Murphy described her character, Elizabeth, as the hotel’s owner; the season was scheduled to premiere October 7, 2015, and had 13 episodes. The 12-episode count cited by Parade refers to Gaga’s appearances, not the full season’s episode count. Neither that count nor the season’s 13 episodes reveals her contract terms or guarantees that an assumed per-episode rate applied uniformly.
