Mia Farrow’s acting career is the clearest documented source of her wealth, but the often-cited $60 million figure is an unverified estimate, not a confirmed account of her current finances. A 2024 entertainment article gives a range of $10 million to $60 million without explaining its calculation. The public record offers a few older financial clues, not a current balance sheet.
Is Mia Farrow’s net worth really $60 million?
It is possible to find the figure in entertainment coverage, but it is not independently verified. ComingSoon’s September 2024 article puts Farrow’s estimated net worth in a range of $10 million to $60 million and attributes her earnings primarily to acting. It does not disclose a calculation or supporting asset records: ComingSoon’s 2024 estimate.

That range should be read as a media estimate, not a measured or audited valuation. The sources available do not establish Farrow’s present assets, liabilities, investments, property values, or total career earnings.
How did Mia Farrow make her money?
A long career in television, film and theater
Farrow began pursuing acting seriously in 1963 and made her off-Broadway debut in The Importance of Being Earnest. She became widely known as Alison MacKenzie on the television series Peyton Place. Her film work includes Rosemary’s Baby (1968), The Great Gatsby (1974), and Hannah and Her Sisters (1986). Biography.com’s career overview documents these milestones: Biography.com’s Mia Farrow profile.

Acting is therefore the best-supported source category for her wealth. The available sources do not provide a complete accounting of earnings from her screen, stage, or other work.
Reported payments for films with Woody Allen
A 2013 Vanity Fair profile says Allen reportedly paid Farrow $200,000 for each of the 13 films she made with him. This is reported per-film compensation, not a verified lifetime-income total. It does not show what she retained after taxes, representation, expenses, or other costs: Vanity Fair’s 2013 profile.
What do the older financial reports show?
A 1992 asset figure
In a December 22, 1992 report about a legal-fee dispute, the Los Angeles Times said Allen’s lawyer cited an affidavit in which Farrow had stated she possessed $3.8 million in assets as of June 30 of that year. This is a dated figure described in litigation-related reporting; it does not establish her wealth today: The Los Angeles Times report.
A proposed autobiography deal
The same report says Allen’s lawyer characterized a proposed autobiography deal as worth $3 million. Farrow’s lawyer told the judge there was no contract yet, only a proposal. The reported amount should not be treated as money she received.

Why reported income does not establish net worth
Career pay and an asset figure from one point in time cannot, by themselves, establish a person’s current net worth. The cited reporting does not account for taxes, spending, changing property values, liabilities, investments, or income after the dates covered.
Vanity Fair also describes financial strain after Farrow’s separation from André Previn: she moved to Martha’s Vineyard for a year, ran out of money, then moved with her children into her mother’s Manhattan apartment and worked on Broadway in Romantic Comedy. The profile says she took no alimony from Previn or Frank Sinatra; it reports that Previn provided a small monthly amount for child support and paid half of school tuition. These details add context, but they are not a complete financial accounting.
