Why do some reports mention seven seasons?
Season 7 comes from an earlier creative plan described by co-creator, actor, and executive producer Hugh Dillon. In a June 7, 2024 interview with The Extra Mile, Dillon said Taylor Sheridan had the finale in mind for Season 7. That was Dillon’s account of Sheridan’s planned story arc; it was not confirmation that Paramount+ had ordered seven seasons.
