Madison LeCroy has described co-parenting son Hudson with her ex-husband, Josh Hughes, as a shared, hands-on arrangement. She said they had joint custody and saw each other every week, while emphasizing that they learned to put Hudson’s needs ahead of their own disagreements. Those are LeCroy’s public descriptions, not a verified account of the terms of a custody order.
What Madison LeCroy has said about their arrangement
In October 2022, LeCroy told Us Weekly: “Josh and I see each other every week. We have joint custody. We are both very hands-on with our son.” Her comments describe regular contact and involvement by both parents, but do not spell out a week-by-week schedule.
LeCroy had previously described the division of parenting time in simpler terms. In remarks from a 2020 Southern Charm interview, quoted by Bravo, she said, “And we do co-parenting, so we’re 50 percent on [and] 50 percent off.” That was her description at the time, rather than documentation of a formal custody schedule.
How they made Hudson the priority
LeCroy said the transition was not immediately smooth. In the 2022 interview, she recalled: “My coparenting started off rough but we both sucked it up and made it about Hudson not us.”

She returned to that idea in December 2024, telling Bravo’s The Daily Dish that she and Hughes had quickly recognized the focus should be Hudson and what was best for him. “And I think that we both have done a wonderful job at keeping that the main priority. I think we’re actually doing pretty good at that.” Her comments describe how she viewed their approach at that point; they do not establish the details of their private parenting decisions.
What LeCroy has said about her ex-husband and Brett Randle
In 2022, LeCroy also said Hughes and her then-fiancé, Brett Randle, got along. She described the three adults attending Hudson’s flag-football game. It is a specific example she shared publicly, not evidence that every interaction between the adults is the same.

What is confirmed—and what is not
The public account comes from LeCroy’s comments reported by Bravo in 2020 and 2024 and by Us Weekly in 2022. Those reports support describing what she said about shared parenting, weekly contact, and keeping Hudson central. They do not provide a custody filing, an independent account from Hughes, or evidence of the family’s current logistics. For that reason, “joint custody” and “50 percent on, 50 percent off” should be understood as LeCroy’s descriptions, not as independently verified legal terms.
