Daniel Ricciardo’s clothing venture began as Ric3 and was reworked in 2023 as Enchanté, a brand he wanted people to recognize in its own right—not only as merchandise linked to an F1 driver. The shift is visible in its limited, place-inspired collections and a product range extending beyond shirts. Enchanté’s current store presents it as an apparel and lifestyle label, though its catalog and availability can change.
From Ric3 merchandise to Enchanté
PerthNow reported on 24 July 2023 that Ricciardo initially launched the clothing line as Ric3 before transforming it into Enchanté that year. The report characterized the change as an effort to move away from merchandise-like products toward a more fashion-forward identity. It also described limited drops inspired by Grand Prix cities.
In the WWD interview quoted by PerthNow, Ricciardo said, “I felt it wasn’t really ever very fashion-forward. So I wanted to do something a little bit cool with it.” The same report describes his ambition as wanting customers to “see it as a brand on its own,” rather than associate it only with him. These are statements as reproduced by PerthNow, not a full transcript of the original interview.
The official Enchanté About page describes the label as founded by Ricciardo and places it in automotive culture. That establishes how the brand presents itself; it does not, by itself, establish its scale or commercial success.

What the collections reveal about the ambition
The 2023 Beach Club collection offered a snapshot of the broader direction. PerthNow said it drew on beach-club culture in southern France and Monaco and listed hoodies, T-shirts, sweatpants, towels, trinket trays and a bracelet. That assortment reaches beyond conventional apparel into accessories and home-adjacent objects, but it describes that particular collection, not the current catalog.
PerthNow reported prices of $23 to $242 for the Beach Club collection in 2023. Those figures are historical and should not be read as present-day pricing. The report’s description of the collection’s inspiration and fashion positioning is attributed reporting, rather than an independent assessment of its standing in the industry.

How Ricciardo’s personal style fits the label
Formula 1’s 11 September 2025 retrospective connects Enchanté with Ricciardo’s personal approach to clothing and recounts an origin story for the name: “Enchanté” began as a Monaco in-joke, when a friend used it in place of “cheers.” The anecdote is part of the retrospective’s account, not independent verification of the brand’s history.
The article also reproduces a GQ-attributed description of Ricciardo’s style: “The more I travel, the more I recognise I am drawn to the styles of each place. I guess you could say I dress to the setting and go with the flow.” That idea complements the reported city-inspired drops, linking the label’s travel references to Ricciardo’s own stated tastes.

Why the rebrand matters
Enchanté’s evolution is best understood as a change in ambition and presentation: from Ric3, which PerthNow described as merchandise-like, toward a label built around apparel, place-inspired releases and a wider lifestyle assortment. The official brand materials and dated reporting support that direction. They do not establish how far the venture has progressed commercially or whether customers now see it independently of Ricciardo.
