What has been reported about Richie and her mother?
In a 2006 profile, Vanity Fair reported that Richie continued seeing her biological mother as she grew up. Richie recalled being able to travel to San Francisco to see her mother, or to spend time with Lionel or Brenda. She said: “If I wanted to go on tour with my dad [Lionel], if I wanted to go to San Francisco to see my mom, if I wanted to be in L.A. with Brenda—whenever I wanted to go someplace, they would put me on an airplane that day.”
That account describes childhood visits and family arrangements; it does not report whether Richie and Moss remain in contact now.

Does a later statement confirm they reconciled?
A 2025 Legit.ng article attributes to Richie a 2007 statement that pregnancy motivated her to mend issues with her parents. The reported intention is not confirmation that reconciliation took place, nor does it establish the state of her relationship with Moss today.
