The short answer: the available official record establishes a royal-family connection for one named person, Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa of Bahrain, who is identified as a son of Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa. It does not establish how “the Naders” as a group relate to any royal family, and it does not confirm that this Shaikh is the person the question has in mind. The explanation below separates what is documented from what remains open.
Which Naders the question could mean
The name “Nader” appears in more than one context, and the sources that turned up do not agree on a single subject. Before reading the Bahraini record, it helps to see the candidates side by side.
| Candidate | Royal-family link found? | Source and date | Confidence it is the intended subject |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa (Bahrain) | Yes. Identified as a son of Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, a member of the Bahraini royal family. | Official website of the Bahrain Crown Prince; event report dated May 4, 2017 | Unconfirmed. He is the only official royal-family match found, but nothing ties him to the wording of the question. |
| “The Nader girls” | Not stated. A podcast recap mentions them in a reality-TV discussion and gives no family or royal relationship. | Podcast recap (date not established in the sources reviewed) | Low. The reference is entertainment commentary, not genealogy. |
| Any other Nader family | Not stated. No source reviewed identified one. | Not applicable | Cannot be assessed from the available record. |
Because the reference to the Nader girls carries no royal connection, it should not be read as part of the family discussion. Treat it as a separate, unrelated use of the name.
What the Bahrain source says
The official Bahrain Crown Prince’s website carries an event report dated May 4, 2017. It makes three specific claims, and only these:

- The wedding ceremony of Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa was attended by members of the royal family.
- Shaikh Nader is identified as a son of His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa.
- The Deputy King is identified as His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who attended the ceremony.
The report is an event write-up. It is not a family tree, and it does not state any further relationship between Shaikh Nader and the wider royal house beyond the parentage above. Titles and positions are those given in a 2017 report; they may have changed since, and readers should check current official listings before relying on them.
What the record does not establish
- It does not show that “the Naders” in the question are the Bahraini Shaikh or his immediate family.
- It does not describe siblings, cousins, marriages beyond the wedding event, or any other degree of kinship, and no such relationship should be inferred from it.
- It does not link the reality-TV “Nader girls” to any royal house.
- It contains no statement from a named official explaining a broader Nader family relationship.
The British royal family: background only
The official British Royal Family website states that the House of Windsor was adopted as the family’s name in 1917. That is useful context if the question is about the British monarchy, but the same source makes no reference to anyone named Nader, so it does not answer the question on its own.
How to pin down the intended family
- Check the original wording or the page where the question appeared. A surname alone rarely identifies a royal relation; a first name, country or title usually does.
- If the Bahrain interpretation fits, confirm parentage on the official Bahrain Crown Prince’s website, which is the primary record found for this name.
- If the question concerns a British or other European family, search the official site of that royal house directly rather than relying on a search for a surname.
- For genealogy beyond official announcements, note that the Royal Archives does not hold the general records that genealogical work usually needs. Its own guidance points researchers to other genealogy resources, so it will not settle a Nader family tree.
Where that leaves the question
If the question means Shaikh Nader bin Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa of Bahrain, the official record supports his place in the royal family as a son of Prince Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa. If it means anyone else called Nader, no royal relationship is established by the sources available.
