It launched October 24, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. It includes five modes, track building, boss battles, and local split-screen play for up to four players.
What is Hot Wheels Let’s Race: Ultimate Speed?
Developed by Bamtang Games and published by GameMill Entertainment, Ultimate Speed adapts the world of Hot Wheels Let’s Race into a family-friendly arcade racer. Mattel describes its driving as drift-based and its races as fast-paced. The game features racers from the series, including Coop, Spark, Mac, Brights, Axle, and Cruise.
The Netflix series premiered globally on March 4, 2024. It follows Coop and other young racers at a racing camp; the game builds on that setting with races, vehicle customization, and track creation.
Release date and platforms
The game launched on October 24, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Mattel and GameMill announced those platforms and the date in the launch release; Steam’s listing also gives October 24, 2025, as the release date. - The Hot Wheels City Transforming Race Tower converts from high-level single-lane racing to a two-lane competitive speedway with innovative twists kids and adults love.
- The impressive dual-side elevator works for both race and single modes and automatically converts during the tower's transformation.
- In race-mode, place 2 1:64 scale cars in the elevator, then lift it to the top, release the fair-start gate and watch the cars race. One Hot Wheels car is included. Additional cars sold separately.
- The tower is 26-inches tall in single-lane mode, making for high-speed racing full of twists and turns. Connect it to other Hot Wheels sets to continue the adventures. (Additional sets sold separately.)
- Makes a great gift for kids 3 years old and up who love racing their Hot Wheels cars.
Cars and customization
Players can customize vehicles with decals and unlock content. Named cars include GT-Scorcher, Super Twin Mill, Roger Dodger, and Duck N’ Roll on Mattel’s product page. Mattel’s announcement spells one car “Rodger Dodger”; that spelling is retained here when referring to the announcement’s listing.
