The figure in the headline is Hot Toys’ sixth-scale Obi-Wan Kenobi wearing Mandalorian armor from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The design points to a specific episode and rescue attempt—not a general costume variant. “Coolest” and “most unique” are matters of taste, not an objective ranking.
Which Obi-Wan Kenobi figure is this?
It is Hot Toys’ sixth-scale Obi-Wan Kenobi figure in Mandalorian armor. The description identifies the maker, character, scale and costume, but does not establish a complete specification or accessory list. Gizmodo’s May 16, 2024 article is the source for the product identification.
When did Obi-Wan wear Mandalorian armor?
The armor refers to “The Lawless,” a season-five episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the story described by Gizmodo, Obi-Wan defies the Jedi in an attempt to rescue his friend Satine from Maul on Mandalore. That episode-specific context is what makes this version distinct from a generic armored take on the character.
What is known about preorders and availability?
Gizmodo reported on May 16, 2024 that pre-orders would be available through Sideshow on the Friday after publication. That was a historical preorder reference; it does not establish whether the figure is currently in stock, released, or available at a particular price.
