Macaulay Culkin has returned as Kevin McCallister—but in a Home Instead advertisement, not a new Home Alone movie. The campaign brings Kevin together with Old Man Marley’s granddaughter and uses their encounter to explore how he might talk with his aging mother about getting help.
What happens in the Home Instead ad?
Kevin is preparing to protect his aging mother from everyday dangers. While shoveling the sidewalk, Old Man Marley’s granddaughter asks whether he has tried talking with his mother about getting help. The campaign presents that conversation as difficult, but worthwhile.
