Hollywood Arts is a Netflix spin-off of Nickelodeon’s Victorious, scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 15, 2026. Daniella Monet returns as Trina Vega, now a substitute teacher at the performing-arts school where the original series was set. As of October 8, 2026, the premiere is still upcoming, so confirm availability on Netflix once it has launched.
When and where Hollywood Arts premieres
Netflix’s announcement, published September 15, 2026, gives October 15, 2026 as the premiere date, and Netflix is the only platform named for the new series. The announcements do not establish an exact release time, an episode count, episode length, or a release schedule after the premiere, so treat any specific figure you see elsewhere as unverified until Netflix confirms it.
The original Victorious is also on Netflix. Netflix said in the same September 15 coverage that seasons 1 through 3 were streaming there. No later Nickelodeon or Paramount+ window for the spin-off is established by the official material available, so do not assume a second home for either show.
What the spin-off is about
Trina Vega, an aspiring actor who has not yet landed her big break, returns to Hollywood Arts as a substitute teacher. According to Netflix, she initially clashes with a new generation of ambitious students, then unexpectedly inspires them while she pursues her own acting goals. The series is built around that teacher-and-students dynamic rather than around the original lead.

- Revisit America's first family rock band!
- Disc set includes all 96 episodes of the series that made David Cassidy a teen idol.
- Musical siblings sitcom.
- 8 DVDs.
- 41 hours.
The original show’s premise explains the shift. Paramount describes Victorious as the story of Tori Vega entering Hollywood Arts, a performing-arts high school where she initially feels out of place among talented classmates. Her sister Trina and her new friends help her gain confidence as a performer, and the series featured original music performed by Victoria Justice and the ensemble cast. The spin-off takes the school setting and moves the focus to Trina and a new group of students.
Who is returning from the original cast
Netflix’s announcements confirm three returning original cast members in addition to Monet:

- Daniella Monet as Trina Vega, who also executive produces.
- Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen.
- Eric Lange as acting teacher Erwin Sikowitz.
- Matt Bennett as Robbie Shapiro.
Brown, Lange and Bennett are confirmed in Netflix’s trailer announcement and related coverage. Other former cast members should not be described as confirmed unless a newer official source names them.
Is Victoria Justice in Hollywood Arts?
Victoria Justice is not named among the confirmed cast in the official Netflix announcements. Her role as Tori Vega is also not part of the announced premise, which centers on Trina and a new generation of students. A cameo or guest appearance would be speculation until Netflix or the production confirms it, so readers searching for her should treat the question as open.
