POP MART’s U.S. listings date both the full-size vinyl plush doll and the related pendant blind-box series to March 12, 2026—months before October 8, 2026.
When did the Hello Kitty × Labubu plush come out?
POP MART lists the online release of THE MONSTERS × HELLO KITTY – Vinyl Plush Doll as March 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM PST. Its separate THE MONSTERS × Hello Kitty and Friends Series – Vinyl Plush Pendant Blind Box listing gives the same online release date. Neither listing supports describing these products as a new launch during the week of October 8, 2026. See POP MART’s full-size doll listing and pendant blind-box listing.
Sanrio Japan’s official notice for original goods scheduled for October 8 lists Kuromi and cookie-themed items, not a new Labubu collaboration. That notice does not rule out a separate announcement by a retailer or licensee, but it does not establish one. Sanrio Japan’s notice.

The first is a single named doll listing. The second is a blind-box series featuring Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters, so the character inside is not specified in the product name. They are related products, but the pendant series is not simply another name for the full-size doll.
