Following Donald Sutherland’s death at 88, tributes from Helen Mirren, Ron Howard, Edgar Wright and others remembered the actor and his wide-ranging screen career. The available report identifies those paying tribute but does not include the full remarks from Mirren, Howard or Wright, so their specific words cannot be reliably quoted here.
What is known about the tributes
The roundup’s headline names Helen Mirren, Ron Howard and Edgar Wright among those who paid tribute to Sutherland. Its indexed extract frames the remembrances around his “creative courage,” but does not provide enough of their statements to establish what any one of them said or meant by that phrase. The article’s complete text is not available in the indexed report.

A life well lived.” These are Kiefer’s words, not statements attributed to Mirren or Howard.
