Heidi Klum’s 24th annual Halloween party took place on October 31, 2025, at the Hard Rock Hotel New York. Klum arrived as Medusa, Tom Kaulitz wore a silver knight-like statue costume, and the guests included Darren Criss as Shrek, Maye Musk as Cruella de Vil and Ariana Madix as Lady Gaga. Entertainment outlets published photo galleries from the event, with captions identifying guests and costumes. Just Jared’s gallery describes its coverage as photos of every guest in attendance; that is the publisher’s description, not an independently verified complete attendee list. The party was held on Friday, October 31, at the Hard Rock Hotel New York. Just Jared says the event was presented by Butterfinger and Huluween on Disney+; that is event context, not an endorsement by its celebrity guests.
What Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz wore
Klum transformed into Medusa, with a grotesque, prosthetic-heavy look. The Associated Press reported that it took her 10 hours to get into the costume. “So I wanted to be really, really like a really ugly, ugly Medusa. And I feel like we nailed it — to the teeth,” Klum said, according to the Associated Press.

Kaulitz complemented the mythological theme in a silver knight or statue look. The host couple’s costumes continued Klum’s tradition of elaborate, often transformative Halloween creations.

The previous year’s party was held on October 31, 2024, at The Venue on Music Row at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York, according to Just Jared’s 2024 coverage. Klum and Kaulitz went as E.T. Vogue reported that 30 FX artists spent an entire year crafting two versions of the character for the couple’s looks.

Guest lists and costumes change from one edition to another. Just Jared’s 2024 photos include Aly & AJ, Bethenny Frankel, Charli D’Amelio, Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini, Danna, Eric André, Ice-T and Coco Austin, and Jonathan Van Ness; they are not a roster for 2025.
Klum’s Halloween costume tradition
Klum’s past transformations range from fantasy characters to creatures and pop-culture homages. Vogue’s retrospective identifies her as Fiona from Shrek in 2018, Jessica Rabbit in 2015, a butterfly in 2014, a peacock in 2023, a worm in 2022, and E.T. with Kaulitz in 2024. Vogue also covers her 2016 clone look and 2017 Thriller-era Michael Jackson look. The Associated Press has highlighted the worm, an eight-foot-tall Transformer, a Thriller werewolf, clones and Kali among her past transformations; the descriptions do not establish a year for every look.
