Heeseung left ENHYPEN in March 2026, with BELIFT LAB saying the group would continue as six members and that he would prepare solo music under the label. That plan has since moved forward: Yonhap reported on June 22 that he relaunched as Evan with the two-track debut single Ride or Die.
Why did Heeseung leave ENHYPEN?
In its March 10, 2026 announcement, BELIFT LAB said discussions about ENHYPEN’s direction and the members’ future visions showed that Heeseung had a distinct musical vision of his own. The label announced that he would part ways with the group and that ENHYPEN would continue official activities as six members. BELIFT LAB’s announcement
HYBE later told CNA that the company and members had held in-depth conversations about the group’s future and individual visions, and described the decision as mutual. That is the company’s account of the discussions, not independent confirmation of what was said privately. CNA’s report
Is Heeseung still under BELIFT LAB?
Yes. The March announcement said Heeseung would prepare a solo album as an artist under BELIFT LAB. On June 22, Yonhap reported his solo relaunch under the stage name Evan, also under BELIFT LAB. BELIFT LAB’s announcement Yonhap’s report
