What has Noah Wyle said about the show’s production?
At a March 20, 2026 hearing in Burbank about U.S. film and television production, Wyle said The Pitt shoots at the Warner Bros. lot and argued that the series demonstrated California could be a viable place to make television. The Associated Press reported Wyle’s claim that the first season generated nearly 600 production jobs and $125 million in economic ripple effects for California. Those are figures Wyle cited, not independently audited totals established by the AP report. The Associated Press report quoted Wyle calling the production “proof of concept” in the context of California’s production incentives.
