Hayley Williams’s “Mirtazapine” and the 16 other songs first appeared together on a temporary player on her official website in late July 2025. All 17 were released individually on streaming services on August 1, 2025, so the original promotional code is no longer the listening route.
Where to listen to “Mirtazapine” and the other songs
Look for “Mirtazapine” on streaming services: Apple Music lists it as a one-song single released August 1, 2025, with ℗ 2025 Post Atlantic. Contemporaneous follow-up coverage reported that the other 16 songs were also released individually on streaming platforms that day. Availability and catalog presentation can vary by service and region.

The August 1 release was not initially presented as one conventional 17-track album. The songs were issued as separate singles, according to Exclaim!.
How the original audio-player promotion worked
In late July 2025, Williams’s website hosted a player with 17 audio files: “Mirtazapine” and 16 additional songs. Rolling Stone Australia reported that access used a special code distributed through Good Dye Young’s limited “Ego” semi-permanent marigold-yellow hair-color promotion. The promotion involved 2,000 signed cartons; that figure refers to the promotional product run, not the number of music copies or streams. Rolling Stone Australia covered the launch on July 29, 2025.

That code was part of the original release promotion, not a continuing requirement to hear the songs. The available reporting does not establish whether the limited shade is currently in stock, and buying hair dye now should not be treated as a way to obtain music access.

Apple Music’s catalog entry confirms “Mirtazapine” as a single released August 1, 2025: Apple Music. The contemporaneous reporting describes the other 16 songs as individual releases as well.

What the later album context means
In December 2025, the Associated Press included the later Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party in its year-end album coverage and described “Mirtazapine” as college-radio indie rock. That is the AP’s critical characterization, not an official genre classification. The earlier 17-song website player and August streaming rollout should therefore be distinguished from the later album context; they were not initially announced as a single 17-track album.
