The statement expressed an intention to co-parent, but did not set out custody terms, a schedule, financial arrangements or details of court proceedings. Contemporaneous reporting said the couple welcomed Agastya in July 2020.
Did the announcement confirm a divorce?
No. The statement said they had decided to “mutually part ways”; that wording confirms a separation announcement, not a legally finalized divorce. The contemporaneous reports cited here do not establish their later legal status.
