1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYes—you can visit real places featured in Hallmark Christmas movies, but a filmed location is not automatically a public attraction. Start with an official itinerary, match a specific film to a confirmed place, and check access before you go. The clearest options include Connecticut’s multi-network Christmas Movie Trail, Biltmore Estate in Asheville, and seasonal or regional film-location experiences in British Columbia.
Plan around real locations, not the fictional town
A movie may combine several places, sets, and interiors to create one fictional town. A named filming location might be a public attraction, an ordinary business, a private property, or part of a working film lot. Those are different kinds of stops, with different access rules.
For a practical trip, choose a film or region, use an official tourism or venue itinerary to identify possible stops, and confirm current hours, admission, event dates, and visitor rules directly with each location. Do not assume that a private interior or production area is open just because it appeared on screen.
Connecticut: follow the official Christmas Movie Trail
Connecticut’s official Christmas Movie Trail is a flexible way to plan a multi-stop trip. CTvisit, the Connecticut Office of Tourism, reported in 2026 that 22+ Christmas movies filmed in the state. That total includes Hallmark, Netflix, and Lifetime productions; it is not a Hallmark-only count.

The site offers movie details and curated itineraries to help you match locations to films. Check the current details for each stop: a listing does not guarantee a business or interior will be open when you arrive.
One documented Hallmark stop
Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre in Wethersfield appeared in Hallmark’s Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane and Rediscovering Christmas, according to the Associated Press’s December 2025 report on the trail. Treat any tour mentioned in that report as an example from 2025, not as evidence that the same tour is currently offered. Verify the market’s visitor information before making it a planned stop.

Abbotsford, British Columbia: use the Abbywood itinerary
Tourism Abbotsford’s Abbywood information promotes the area’s film-location appeal, while its Magical Movie Moments itinerary lays out a two-day visit and names Coast Abbotsford Hotel & Suites as a nearby lodging option. The itinerary covers movie locations broadly; it does not establish that every stop is from a Hallmark production. Confirm a specific film-to-location connection before describing or planning a stop as Hallmark-related.
Tourism Abbotsford places the city about 60 minutes from Vancouver and notes its local airport and the Sumas border crossing. Treat those as planning details, not guaranteed travel times: check your route, traffic, border requirements, and travel arrangements for your dates. Contact individual sites to confirm whether they welcome visitors and what areas are accessible.

Before you set out
- Choose a film or region. Use a named film when you want a clearly documented connection, or use a regional trail when you want several possible stops.
- Open the official itinerary. Check that the location is still listed and note whether the route identifies a business, attraction, event, or general filming area.
- Confirm each stop directly. Check current opening hours, tickets, event dates, and visitor access with the venue or organizer.
- Respect private property. Do not enter homes, businesses, or production areas without permission, even if you recognize them from a movie.
- Allow for changes. Filming locations can have ordinary operating hours and rules that differ from what appears on screen; build the trip around confirmed access rather than a scene alone.
