In a PerthNow report published on 14 November 2024, she described an uneven front, choppy layers at the back and months of wearing her hair up to conceal the result.
What happened with Bell’s haircut?
PerthNow reported that Bell had recently moved to a country town and did not know which local hairdresser to trust. She chose a popular salon chain that she understood offered walk-in appointments and low prices; the report does not name the business.
Bell said she asked for a bob and made clear that she did not want layers because she disliked their look. To reduce volume, she said she suggested thinning scissors or a short layer close to her neck.
Why did she call it a haircut disaster?
Bell said the result did not match what she had requested and that the cut itself was poor. She described the front of the bob as uneven and the back as having several choppy layers, with some sections cut as high as her ear.

She told viewers: “If anyone thinks that they’ve had the world’s worst haircut, I just wanna say they haven’t, they’re wrong. It was actually me.” When shown the back of the cut, she said, “I instantly felt my soul leave my body and my brain hit my butt.”
How did Bell deal with the haircut?
According to the report, Bell wore her hair up for months to hide the cut. A large claw clip is one possible way to keep hair up temporarily, but PerthNow did not say which accessory, if any, Bell used.

What is known about the TikTok video?
PerthNow said the video had garnered almost two million views as of its 14 November 2024 report. That is the publisher’s approximate figure at the time, not a current view count. The report identifies the creator as Bell but gives no full name, and it does not establish the current availability of the post.
