When did HAIM release “Relationships”?
Sony Music Canada’s announcement, dated March 12, 2025, said the single and video were out that day on Columbia Records. Apple Music’s US catalog lists “Relationships – Single” with a March 11, 2025 date and shows one song with a duration of three minutes. These are dates reported by two different sources and should be understood in that context.
Sony described the track as the first new music from HAIM’s then-forthcoming fourth studio album. The announcement did not name that album. Pitchfork reported that it was HAIM’s first new music since “Home,” the band’s contribution to Barbie the Album in 2023.
Who appears in the video, and who directed it?
The video stars HAIM—sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim—and actor Drew Starkey. Camille Summers-Valli directed it, according to Sony Music Canada; Pitchfork also identifies Starkey and Summers-Valli in its report on the release.
