Why did the show return to the headlines?
The 2024 headline was tied to Season 3. On May 3, 2024, BGR reported that the season’s Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer had shifted from 100% to 96% by the time of its article. That is a historical snapshot, not the show’s current score.

If you like character-driven comedy-drama built around a difficult working relationship, Hacks offers a clear reason to start: the friction between a seasoned performer and a younger writer is the center of the show. Its strong critic scores provide useful context, but they cannot predict whether its humor or characters will suit your taste.
