To stop your next Gyre subscription charge, cancel before the renewal date: sign in, open your avatar menu, then go to Settings > Subscriptions > Active. Select the subscription, open its three-dot menu, and choose Unsubscribe. To request a refund, contact Gyre within 14 days of payment and make sure your account has streamed for less than 10 hours in total when you submit the request. Eligible refunds may be reduced by transaction fees.
How to cancel a Gyre subscription
- Sign in to the Gyre account that holds the subscription.
- Click your avatar and choose Settings > Subscriptions > Active.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Open the three-dot menu and choose Unsubscribe.
Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next period’s charge. Gyre’s Terms of Service state: “To avoid being charged the corresponding amount in the next period, cancel the Subscription before the renewal date.” You can also request cancellation by emailing [email protected]. When Gyre says you may qualify for a refund
Gyre’s English Terms of Service, last updated January 14, 2026, set two conditions: the refund request must be submitted within 14 days after payment, and the account’s total stream duration must be less than 10 hours when the request is submitted. Both conditions apply. The pricing FAQ describes a qualifying refund as “full,” but the detailed Terms of Service provide for transaction-fee deductions, so do not assume the gross payment will be returned. How fees depend on payment method
- Card paid through Stripe: Gyre says Stripe transaction fees deducted from an eligible refund do not exceed 7% of the subscription cost.
- Account Balance: a refund goes back to the Balance, less the fees paid when topping it up.
The applicable fee and refund amount depend on the account’s payment details. The stated 7% is Gyre’s published ceiling for Stripe transaction fees, not a guaranteed deduction in every case.

How to submit the request
- Email Gyre support from the email address used to purchase the subscription.
- Include your account number and a detailed explanation for the refund request.
- Submit within the 14-day window and before total account stream duration reaches 10 hours.
Gyre says refund requests are generally processed within 10 business days. Its Terms of Service also reserve the right to block an account, refuse a refund, or offer further service if someone repeatedly requests refunds or seeks refunds while continuing to use the service. What happens if you miss the refund conditions?
Gyre says it does not issue a refund if the request is made after 14 days or if total account stream duration is 10 hours or more. If the refund is unavailable, the subscription remains active through the end of its current period; cancellation still prevents renewal when completed before the renewal date. Check your account for the exact payment, renewal date, and stream duration, since the public policy cannot establish those account-specific details.

How to delete a Gyre account
Account deletion requires an email to Gyre support. If a subscription is active, request cancellation as well. Gyre applies the same refund criteria—request within 14 days and under 10 total stream hours—to deletion requests paired with cancellation.
