What’s actually slowing this PC down?

If Gyre audio is out of sync on YouTube, first compare the original video file with the YouTube playback. If both are out of sync, the source file is the likely place to investigate. If the file plays correctly but the live stream does not, check YouTube’s live-stream health and configuration information. If the mismatch affects only one viewer, compare playback on another browser or device before changing the file.
Find where the sync problem begins
Gyre’s described workflow sends prerecorded video uploaded to Gyre storage from its cloud to YouTube. That makes three different failure points worth separating: the prepared file, the live stream or its ingestion, and playback on a particular viewer’s device. A symptom that looks identical can call for a different next step depending on where it first appears.
| Where the mismatch first appears | What to check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| In the original file and on YouTube | Whether the audio and video tracks align and have the same duration | Repair and export the source file, then replace the Gyre upload if appropriate. |
| The original file is in sync; the live YouTube output is not | YouTube Live health or configuration messages, plus the Gyre file’s preparation | Record the exact messages and investigate the stream path before changing the source. |
| Only one browser, device, or viewer reports the problem | Playback on another browser or device, compared with the source file and live output | Isolate the affected playback environment; the reviewed YouTube guidance does not give a Gyre-specific viewer-side sync correction. |
1. Check the original recording
Play the exact file uploaded to Gyre locally and compare moments with clear synchronization cues, such as speech, a clap, or a musical beat, against the YouTube stream. Check more than one point in the video: a fixed offset from the start differs from drift that grows over time.
YouTube Help’s upload troubleshooting guidance says audio and video tracks with different durations may not sync correctly and advises editing the tracks before upload. That advice is useful when the source itself is defective; it is not a complete diagnosis for a live-ingestion or viewer-only problem.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- If the file is already out of sync: correct the audio/video alignment in an editor, export a new file, and verify the exported file locally before replacing the Gyre upload.
- If the file plays correctly: do not assume that re-exporting it will fix a fault that appears only in the live stream. Continue with the live-stream checks.
2. Check how the file was prepared for Gyre
Gyre’s file-preparation guidance lists H.264 video, 1920×1080 or 1280×720 dimensions, video bitrate of 3072–6144 kbps, audio bitrate of 128 kbps, and 30 FPS. It names Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro as conversion options. These are the values in that Gyre support guidance, not a universal sync fix or a guarantee that a file using them will be synchronized.
Confirm that the file Gyre is using is the corrected export, rather than an earlier upload. If you re-encode or edit it, check the resulting file locally again; do not treat a change of bitrate or resolution alone as proof that timing was repaired.

3. Inspect YouTube Live health when the source is in sync
If the original plays correctly but the live output does not, review YouTube’s live-stream health and configuration details for the affected broadcast. Google’s YouTube Live Streaming API health guidance identifies issues including audio codec, sample rate, bitrate, missing audio, video codec, and insufficient video ingestion. These messages can point to stream configuration or delivery problems, but they do not each establish that a particular issue caused audio/video desynchronization.
Preserve the exact warning or error text, along with when it appeared and whether the mismatch is constant or worsens during playback. For example, YouTube’s description of insufficient video ingestion concerns smooth streaming and buffering; it should not be read as a direct diagnosis of audio sync.

4. Account for Gyre’s cloud streaming path
Gyre describes its prerecorded streams as running from its servers, with the creator’s computer playing no part in the outgoing broadcast. So a local CPU load, USB microphone, or cable fault should not be the first explanation for a defect in an already-uploaded, cloud-hosted stream. Those devices can still matter while recording or preparing the source file; they are a separate stage from Gyre’s outgoing stream.
5. Rule out viewer-side playback
Compare the same live moment on another browser or device, then compare both results with the original file. If only one playback environment is affected, changing the uploaded file or stream settings may target the wrong cause. YouTube recommends cross-browser testing for certain browser or device display issues, but the reviewed guidance does not provide a specific playback correction for sync problems on Gyre streams.

6. Escalate with useful evidence
If the mismatch remains, send Gyre support enough detail to distinguish a source, stream, or playback issue:
- Whether the original file is synchronized when played locally.
- Where the mismatch first appears: the file, the live YouTube output, or only a particular viewer’s playback.
- The affected broadcast and when the problem was observed.
- Any exact YouTube Live health or configuration messages.
- Whether the audio/video offset stays roughly constant or changes over time.
The reviewed official guidance does not establish a Gyre-specific audio-delay control, a universal offset value, a typical delay amount, or one fix that applies to every case. Avoid changing an audio delay setting unless you have evidence that the problem is a consistent timing offset and the relevant control is actually available in your workflow.
