How RED VS BLUE works
At launch, matches supported up to 20 players split between Zeon and the Earth Federation Forces. Teams gathered MS Reactor Power from caches near their bases and around the terrain. Reaching 200 MS Reactor Power allowed a faction to activate its signature mobile suit.
Zeon: ZAKU II (Unidentified Type) Solari
Zeon’s team could activate the ZAKU II (Unidentified Type) Solari, the mobile suit associated with the anime’s character Solari.

- The latest internal frame design features a semi-monocoque structure, letting you experience the process of building a Mobile Suit
- The joint structure, returning to the original design, incorporates a new mechanism where the parts that look like joints bend properly by reinterpreting the movable axis
- The legs, inspired by the close combat MS Gundam that it's known for, use composite frame joints to create a human-like outline even when moved
- Details are intricately carved into parts not visible from the outside, such as joints and the backs of parts. Noticeable mounting holes have been removed, resulting in a seamless, integrated design
- The product box will have a Bandai Namco warning label, which is proof that you are purchasing an officially licensed product
Earth Federation Forces: Gundam EX
The opposing faction could activate the Gundam EX. The launch announcement describes players using tactical team combat and weapon arsenals to fight toward their faction’s activation goal.
When a mobile suit entered the battle, the experience included a first-person cockpit view. The partnership announcement had also described earning points and assists to power up a faction’s machine, then selecting a pilot to use it.

Separately, the official Gundam website announced a GUNDAM UNIVERSE ZAKU II (Unidentified Type) Solari action figure for a planned December 2024 release in Japan, at ¥4,950 including tax. That dated product notice is historical; it does not verify present stock or availability in other regions. It concerns a completed action figure, not a Gunpla model kit.
