How did Mina and Steve meet?
According to HGTV’s relationship timeline, they met through a mutual friend at a sports bar. Steve initially held back, and Mina texted him the next day to give their connection another chance. Later, Steve proposed at the 50-yard line of the Indianapolis Colts’ training field.
When did Mina and Steve get married?
They married on June 16, 2016, at a historic 1899 building in Indianapolis, HGTV reports. The setting tied their wedding to the city where Mina’s renovation work and Good Bones story are rooted.

Do Mina and Steve have children?
They have two children: son Jack Drew Hawk, born in 2018, and daughter Charlotte “Charlie” Hawk, born in September 2020. HGTV reports that Jack’s middle name honors one of Steve’s late friends.
What has Mina shared about their fertility journey?

In the same 2023 interview, Mina described the ups and downs of a long relationship, saying, “[Society] tends to only show the awesome stuff” and, “We have a great relationship, and a lot of the time it’s amazing, but sometimes it sucks.” Steve reflected on his early communication, saying, “I’m a lot better at communicating now than I was then.”
