For Daniel, the project was an opportunity to sing with artists he admires. Gshow quoted him saying, “O Projeto Duas Vozes, concretizado agora, me dá a honra de cantar ao lado de pessoas incríveis e isso é um presente pra mim.” He also expressed interest in performing the song with Groove onstage, but described a hope rather than a scheduled appearance.
How the song connects to sertanejo history
The duet revisits “Te Amo Cada Vez Mais,” the Portuguese-language version of Céline Dion’s “To Love You More.” Gshow identifies Dion’s song as a 1995 hit and says João Paulo and Daniel’s Portuguese-language version reached Brazilian charts in 1997. The 2023 recording brings Groove into that song’s history through Daniel’s Duas Vozes project.

Did Gloria Groove plan to pursue sertanejo further?
In an interview report published June 9, 2023, POPline asked whether Groove would venture further into sertanejo after the duet. She said she expected to explore more musical styles and did not want to tie herself to one genre. “Eu acho que eu vou explorar ainda muitos estilos na minha carreira daqui pra frente, não gosto de dizer que eu vou me limitar e nem colar em nenhum estilo em específico,” she said.

She also described unpredictability as part of her artistic appeal: “Arrisco dizer que a graça do meu projeto artístico é justamente essa, a improbabilidade de você nunca saber qual vai ser o estilo que eu vou embarcar em seguida.” Her remarks signal openness to future genre shifts, but the interview does not confirm a later sertanejo EP or another sertanejo release. The collaboration is a concrete example of Groove working beyond a single genre, connecting her with Daniel through a song with an established Brazilian sertanejo association. It is a one-song release, not evidence by itself of a sustained move into sertanejo. Daniel’s stated wish to share it onstage likewise does not establish that a joint performance took place.

The clearest answer to whether Groove would explore sertanejo further is therefore that she said she remained open to different styles in 2023. That statement leaves future possibilities open; it is not confirmation of a specific project.
