Gkay’s December 2021 reveal showed a themed after-party annex for Farofa da Gkay, decorated with a bed dressed in red satin, lights and sofas. POPLine reported that the room was planned to open on the evening of December 6; Social1 described its theme as Fifty Shades of Grey.
What Gkay revealed in December 2021
In a report published December 6, 2021, POPLine described the room’s planned opening for that evening and reproduced Gkay’s caption: “Dark Room Farofa da Gkay. Por que o Christian Grey tá chorando?” The playful line references Christian Grey, the fictional character associated with Fifty Shades of Grey. Read POPLine’s report.
How the room was described
Social1’s December 7, 2021 report described a themed annex with sensual clothing and props, along with the red-satin bed, lighting and sofas. It identified the theme as Fifty Shades of Grey and estimated the space at about 600 square metres. That dimension is Social1’s approximate figure, not an independently verified measurement. These reports describe the room’s design and intended role as an after-party space; the décor alone does not establish what took place inside.

Keep the 2021 reveal separate from the 2022 room
Reports published by SBT and Gshow on December 5, 2022, cover a later Farofa da Gkay edition and describe that year’s room and décor. They are not evidence that the 2021 room was unchanged or that the same design carried over. SBT’s 2022 report and Gshow’s 2022 report concern that separate edition.
